AUSSIES AT AUTOMECHANIKA DUBAI
The annual Automechanika show in Dubai provides an outstanding opportunity for Australian companies to meet with fleet owners, workshops, distributors and retailers from across the MENA region.
The event hosted 28,839 visitors from 134 countries engaging with 1955 exhibitors from 57 countries. In terms of the Australian delegation, this year’s show was as successful as ever with high quality leads and new relationships helping to build our presence in the UAE and beyond.
The Australian Pavillion was in a new location this year, positioned within the Accessories and Customizing Hall, featuring 12 Australian companies including Disc Brakes Australia, Opposite Lock, Tough Dog, Kaymar, Injectors Online, Harrop Engineering, SGF Asia Pacific, TJM and Mercury PM (hosting Pro Quip, Pacemaker, and Milford Auto).
Visitors to the Australian Pavilion were greeted by an impressive TJM stand, boasting the Patriot Campers LC79 Super Tourer (heavily modified 79 Series Landcruiser), which is fitted with TJM upgrades and accessories. Many a selfie was snapped in front of this behemoth.
The Australian Pavilion then flowed through a range of high quality mechanical components, exhaust, towing and load restraint, 4WD accessories, bull bars and rear bars, high performance fuel injection and superchargers, brakes and suspension products.
As always, the Aussies brought a touch of class and good humour to the event which draws together an incredibly diverse mix of language and culture.
Following the success of the 2017 event, the AAAA expects the 2018 exhibitor space to sell out very quickly so for any business interested in exhibiting at the show for the first time, the advice of AAAA Membership Development Manager Nigel Bishop is to look for the expression of interest forms later in the year and get in quick.
