IM GROUP BECOMES PART OF GUD AUTOMOTIVE
The specialist automotive electronics and mechatronics company was established in 1983 and has gone on to become a market leader within its individual brand categories through innovation and high quality standards, says GUD.
Since its inception, the company has developed an enviable record of quality and innovation as a result of extensive in-house R&D technical capabilities designing, developing and validating new products, processes and test equipment.
IM Group has been the recipient of many industry awards for innovation, export achievements, marketing excellence and manufacturing and was inducted into the prestigious Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame in 2006.
The IM Group’s respected brands include Injectronics – remanufactured automotive electronic and mechatronic components; RAE Ignition and Sensors including ignition coils; dat Equipment – diagnostic speciality tools and equipment; MAP mechatronics auto parts – a leading Australian range of remote buttons, shells, complete remotes and keys to suit a wide range of popular makes and models and genuine OEM replacement parts from some of the world’s leading manufacturers.
To further strengthen the brand names, the highly-respected Goss range of sensors, fuel pumps and ignition coils will become part of the group, with Tony Sheedy relocating to Hallam to take up the role of General Manager – Sales.
Rex Vandenberg, the current Managing Director, will continue to manage the business and Gino Ricciuti will be responsible for brand marketing as General Manager – Marketing and Logistics.
