HAYNESPRO

Now with ADAS information included

HaynesPro enables mechanics to diagnose, maintain and repair cars, trucks, and motorcycles*.
It covers a large percentage of the Australian car parc, and being a web-enabled product, those behind HaynesPro says the data is always the most up to date available.
With most data no more than two mouse clicks away, the fast and efficient access to the correct data saves you precious time.
HaynesPro’s core data is focused around three sections: Technical Data, Electronic Repair Data and Smart Repair Data.
Information in these sections includes service schedules; maintenance and repair instructions and data; specifications; warning lights and indicators; fuse box locations and layout; lubrication and fluid capacities; technical drawings, which includes torque specifications; VESA MKII (guided diagnostics); manufacturer recall information; manufacturer technical service bulletins; SmartCases, verified fixes and tips; interior dash and door trim removal guides; repair times; timing belt and chain replacement guides; electronic park brake disconnection/reconnection; TPMS initialisation; repair manuals; and now, ADAS.

ADAS and HaynesPro
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) aim to reduce road accident casualties by helping drivers avoid collisions. They react faster than the driver and are constantly vigilant.
ADAS constantly monitor the vehicle’s surroundings, alert the driver to hazardous road conditions, and take corrective action such as slowing the vehicle, stopping, or steering away from danger.
Technicians need vehicle specific information to calibrate an ADAS using diagnostics tools. The information is based on the Vehicle Manufacturers’ (OEM) recommendations.
ADAS systems include long- and medium-range radar and vision system technology which can be embedded in the vehicle to detect and classify exterior objects.
A state-of-the-art radar system can differentiate between a vehicle and a pedestrian, identify the location of any potential hazard, and compute the vehicle’s corrective path.
Below are some of the calibrations that ADAS systems require if any component is replaced or in need of calibration:
• (ADAS) 360° system camera: calibration
• (ADAS) 360° system front/rear camera: calibration
• (ADAS) 360° system side camera: calibration
• (ADAS) Augmented reality (A/R) camera: calibration
• (ADAS) Blind spot monitoring system: calibration
• (ADAS) Forward-sensing camera: calibration
• (ADAS) Front-corner radar: calibration
• (ADAS) Lane-keep assist: calibration
• (ADAS) Night vision camera: calibration
• (ADAS) Radar unit aiming: calibration
• (ADAS) Rear-view camera: calibration
