LIGHTING REINVENTED
Narva’s Ultima Series wins Red Dot Design Award 2025

In a landmark achievement for Australian engineering, Narva’s Ultima Lighting Series has received the prestigious 2025 Red Dot Design Award – one of the world’s most esteemed honours for product innovation and design excellence.
With more than 20,000 annual entries from over 60 countries, Narva says only the most outstanding designs earn this recognition.
Narva’s General Manager of Brand and Marketing, Andy Nolan, described the award as “a proud reflection of the dedication and ambition that brought the Ultima Series to life.”
“It represents not just a product success, but a bold statement in redefining lighting performance,” Andy said.
The Ultima Series is engineered for Australia’s most demanding environments – be it long-haul highways, rugged 4WD trails, or isolated mining routes.
Among its standout innovations are the Ultima MK3 LED Driving Lights and the Ultima LED Light Bars.
The MK3 215 model delivers a powerful 18,748 lumens with a 1,401-metre beam, while the Spot Beam variant reaches an impressive 1,500 metres.
The Transport Kit, tailored for trucks running four lamps, pushes output to a “staggering” 78,338 lumens with easy plug-and-play setup.
All models are IP68 and IP69K rated, ensuring they thrive in the harshest conditions.
The Ultima Light Bars – available in eight-inch and 24-inch variants – are said to be equally impressive.
Powered by OSRAM 5W LEDs and precision optics, the 24-inch bar projects 16,500 lumens across a 500-metre forward range and 95-metre width.
The smaller eight-inch pair offers a compact solution that still delivers 13,200 lumens, ideal for vehicles with limited space or as auxiliary lighting.
Narva says what truly sets the Ultima Series apart is its smart Connect+ system.
It explains that this innovative control interface allows drivers to toggle between custom lighting modes, manage two light sets independently, and fine-tune output to suit terrain, time of day, and driving conditions.
Further, Narva states it eliminates the need for complicated wiring or external relays, offering a user-friendly, future-ready experience.
Beyond performance, the Ultima Series is also a visual standout.
It features interchangeable colour trims in bold hues like Narva Blue and Electric Red, stealth lens protectors for added style and durability, and selective yellow protectors to reduce glare in fog or dust.
Built with die-cast aluminium and “virtually unbreakable” polycarbonate lenses, Narva says these lights are designed to endure.
Proudly developed and tested in Australia, Narva says the Ultima Series exemplifies home-grown innovation with global impact.
“The goal wasn’t just to be brighter, but to reinvent what lighting means for real drivers,” Narva Brand Manager, James Pearson, said.
“With this Red Dot Award, Narva has not only lit the road ahead – it has set a new benchmark.”
Narva says it stands as a proudly Australian-owned company, recognised as a market leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of high-quality automotive lighting and electrical components.
With a strong commitment to innovation, reliability, and performance, Narva says it serves a broad spectrum of industries including automotive, marine, and transport, delivering solutions that are trusted by professionals and enthusiasts alike.
Backed by decades of experience and a dedication to excellence, Narva says it continues to set benchmarks in product development and technological advancement, ensuring that customers receive cutting-edge solutions tailored to their needs.
