ENGINEERED FOR EXTREMES
The detail built into every Airbag Man Kit

Airbag Man says it is renowned for its meticulous attention to detail, which it says is evident in every aspect of its products.
The company asserts that it does not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, which is why it provides more than 1,200 kits, each designed to suit a specific vehicle make and model.
“Vehicles can vary by make, model, platform, series, trim level, and production run,” Airbag Man General Manager, Ben Clamp, said.
“These differences effect fitment, and our job is to ensure each kit is built to match those variations precisely for reliable performance.”
Airbag Man achieved ISO certification in 2007, and it says every product is developed in line with strict quality processes and proven design methodologies.
“By following these standards, we ensure our products deliver reliability and long service life, even under the harshest operating conditions,” Ben said.
“It is why we are confident they’ll work in real-world applications for our customers across the globe and around the country.”
The company’s attention to detail also extends beyond the design of airbags: brackets and components undergo extensive durability testing to guarantee they perform under the toughest conditions.
“One of the things we’re really proud of is the introduction of e-coating,” Ben said.
“It is not just about making things look nice – it is about long-term durability. Over time, we have adopted this process to ensure our products deliver strength and protection needed for long-lasting performance.
“Our brackets get covered in mud, water, and salt, by introducing e-coating across our product range we aim to improve the durability and integrity.”
E-coating, or electrocoating, provides improved chip and scratch resistance compared to conventional powder coating, while ensuring a more even coverage for intricate designs.
“It is ideal for underbody mounting and many OEM manufacturers use this finish and process,” Ben said.
“Our locally developed products are now coated using e-coating methods, with the aim to utilise this technology where practicable across our internationally sourced product range.”
Airbag Man applies an e-coating, or electrocoating, to many of its products, including the underbody brackets and mounting hardware.
This coating provides enhanced corrosion resistance and durability and is used on products like the Defender OA kits and Mercedes Sprinter kits found on Queensland ambulances.
The company often highlights this process in its product listings and factory videos, showcasing its commitment to quality.
“Ultimately, everything we do comes back to detail, reliability, and safety,” Ben said.
“From careful engineering to rigorous testing and adopting new innovative finishes like e-coating, it is all about giving our customers confidence that when they install our products, they will be durable and reliable for many journeys to come.”
Since 1995, Airbag Man says it has been a trusted Australian leader in air suspension.
“We design and manufacture high-quality air suspension systems for thousands of light vehicles (including 4×4 and 4×2), heavy vehicles, trailers, caravans, motorhomes, and more – helping Customers all over the world tow safer, smoother, and smarter,” Ben said.
“Partner with us and help your clients confidently conquer any load or terrain.”
