PENRITE ANNOUNCES EXPANDED MOTORSPORT PARTNERSHIPS
The company has further developed its Supercars and Bathurst 12 Hour activities as part of its Centenary growth strategy

Penrite is accelerating its long-term growth agenda with the confirmation of a multi-year extension to its partnership with Supercars, while also elevating its long-standing partnership with Grove Racing.
Expanded Supercars program
Penrite’s multi-year extension to its partnership with Supercars strengthens its position as the Official Oil of Supercars and also sees it continue its naming rights to the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 through to at least 2027.
The company says this renewed agreement reinforces Penrite’s commitment to Australian motorsport at a time when the business is entering a historic milestone.
Penrite’s centenary celebrations are now well underway following the standout victory at the 2025 Bathurst 1000, where Penrite Racing delivered a flagship performance through Matt Payne and Garth Tander.
The enhanced partnership will expand Penrite’s footprint across the Supercars calendar with elevated integration at five marquee events.
Penrite will operate as the exclusive event oil partner for the Sydney 500, Perth Super 440, Bathurst 1000, Gold Coast 500, and the Penrite Oil Sandown 500.
Penrite says this positions its brand with unparalleled brand presence across motorsport audiences in the country.
Penrite Chief Executive Officer, Toby Dymond, said the expanded agreement signals the ambition of the company as it approaches one hundred years of Australian manufacturing excellence.
“As Penrite enters its centenary, we are focused on scaling our impact, driving innovation and reinforcing our leadership position in Australian automotive performance,” Toby said.
“Expanding our partnership with Supercars aligns perfectly with that strategy. It allows us to engage trade partners, performance communities, and everyday motorists at an even greater level.
“This partnership remains a powerful platform to showcase the superiority of our Australian made products and our unwavering commitment to motorsport.”
Supercars Chief Executive James Warburton said Penrite’s continued leadership reflects its integral role in the sport and its strong connection to Australian fans.
“Penrite has been a key supporter of Supercars for many years, and we’re incredibly proud to expand this partnership as they celebrate their 100-year milestone,” James said.
“We are thrilled to continue our relationship with a proudly Australian company in our proudly Australian sport and look forward to welcoming Penrite’s presence across our biggest events, delivering even greater value for fans and the wider sport.”
Powering into the 2026 Bathurst 12 Hour
Penrite is also furthering its long-standing partnership with Grove Racing, as Naming Rights Partner for the team’s 2026 Bathurst 12 Hour campaign.
The program marks a major step change for both organisations, with Grove Racing confirming a full-scale Pro Class assault aimed squarely at outright victory.
The Penrite backed Mercedes AMG GT3 will proudly carry car number 100, a direct acknowledgement of Penrite’s one-hundred-year milestone and the number that delivered Grove Racing’s iconic Bathurst 1000 win.
Toby said the partnership represents a future focused alignment between two family-owned Australian performance brands with shared ambition and a shared expectation of excellence.
“Partnering with Grove Racing as the naming rights sponsor for their Bathurst 12 Hour campaign is an exciting step for Penrite,” Toby said.
“Motorsport is in our DNA, and this collaboration reflects our long-standing commitment to supporting Australian racing at every level.
“As a proudly family-owned business, we see a strong alignment with Grove Racing’s values of passion, performance, and family.
“With our 100-year celebrations approaching in 2026, this partnership is a powerful way to honour our heritage while looking to the future – continuing to innovate, compete, and drive excellence on the track.”
The 2026 driver roster brings proven capability and renewed momentum. Will Davison and Kai Allen will reunite at Mount Panorama, delivering an experienced, highly competitive pairing for the Penrite Racing Mercedes AMG GT3.
The event also marks Will’s first official race with Grove Racing as he integrates into the organisation’s engineering systems and performance frameworks.
Grove Racing Chief Executive Officer, Brenton Grove, will continue his leadership of the team’s GT program and will take the wheel for his first Pro Class push at the renowned enduro.
The team’s engineering structure will feature senior technical leaders Jack Bell, Grant McPherson, and Alistair McVean, ensuring a high capability operational platform for the campaign.
Penrite says its extended partnership reinforces the brand’s strategic intent to maintain a strong presence across premier racing categories while continuing to invest in Australian owned performance innovation.
The alignment with Grove Racing also provides a powerful platform to showcase Penrite’s premium lubricant and fluid technologies under the extreme operating conditions of world class GT competition.
With the Bathurst 12 Hour having established itself as one of the most prestigious GT endurance races globally, attracting top tier manufacturers and elite driver line ups, Penrite says its naming rights partnership with Grove Racing signals its commitment to remaining a leading force in motorsport as the company steps into its next century of Australian made excellence.
