MOTION CONTROL SUSPENSION EVOLVES SYSTEMS FOR 2026
New features are now available

Motion Control Suspension (MCS), a highly regarded motorsport damper system within the Porsche and BMW community with a growing reputation with other vehicle brands for track-focused vehicles, says it is continuing to evolve its systems, with new features beginning at the start of 2026.
MCS systems have been fitted, supplied and maintained by its Australian dealer, Racing Shocks Australia, for vehicles competing in Tarmac Rally, Time Attack, Production-based enduro competition – including the Bathurst 6 Hour – and those of car enthusiasts who own track-focused vehicles.
“HyperKote” is the name of the latest MCS offer: a new coating for all steel body suspension systems, available since the start of January 2026.
MCS says the benefits of the new coating include the retention of lubricity of the spring seat adjusters, improved corrosion resistance, and more resistance to wear and discoloration.
Thermal efficiency of the oil is also reportedly improved by resisting radiating heat caused by the brakes on track days where brake temperatures can exceed over 700 degrees C.
Highlighted at the Performance Racing Industry 2025 show in Indianapolis, the company also showcased its new ULS2 and ULS4 system, a hydraulic spring seat cup system which can be fitted to any of its 52mm diameter suspension products from struts to shocks.
The system can be installed as part of any OEM replacement damper system that uses an axle lift system using the OEM pump and hydraulic actuation.
For vehicles with no axle lift from the vehicle manufacturer, MCS can supply the hydraulic pump system, including hoses that will operate independently of any other system on the vehicle.
Entering a driveway or driving the vehicle onto a trailer are no longer time consuming, tedious or damaging to the vehicle, says MCS, explaining that the system continues to allow the vehicle to have its ride height adjusted manually with tools supplied with every system.
The systems are available from one and two-way non remote canister systems configurations, to two-to-four-way remote canister systems.
“Motion Control Suspension systems are designed for the purest of vehicle owners,” Racing Shocks Australia’s Rob Palermo said.
“As a dealer, it is our responsibility to ensure the customer orders and receives a system specific to their needs.
“A BMW G87 system may not have the same spring rates fitted depending on other modifications to the vehicle, such as aerodynamics, tyre/wheel size, or suspension arms compared to another G87.
“Customer focused support is the reason MCS has become a well-established company since its inception in 2011; and Racing Shocks Australia can also offer installation assistance, track-day and after-sales tech support.”
