FLASHLUBE WINTER FUEL FORMULA

Cold temperatures can create significant challenges for diesel-powered vehicles

As temperatures drop, naturally occurring wax in diesel fuel can crystallise and form a gel.
Fuel gelling, also known as clouding, can clog fuel lines and filters causing the engine to run rough, while also being prone to hard starting, and even engine shutdown, leaving a vehicle stranded on the side of the road.
Flashlube Winter Fuel Formula is specifically formulated to help combat these cold weather fuel issues.
The Flashlube Winter Fuel Formula is a highly effective cold diesel fuel flow improver that increases the effective flow range of diesel and biodiesel fuels at low temperatures (up to -15°C).
The Winter Fuel Formula inhibits and prevents the wax from crystallising and gelling, offering effective cold fuel flow, and also contains a highly concentrated anti-gelling additive formulated to provide maximum cold temperature protection.
Suitable for a wide range of automotive diesel applications including vehicles with biodiesel fuels and low sulphur diesel, the Winter Fuel Formula provides effective moisture formation control within the fuel system.
By helping fuel remain free flowing, it promotes easier cold weather starting, smoother engine operation and improve reliability during cold weather driving.
For optimum results, the Flashlube Winter Fuel Formula should be added to the new fuel at the point of delivery.
The turbulence will successfully mix the Winter Fuel Formula through the fuel. It is best to treat one tank of fuel prior to the winter trip, as this will ensure maximum lubrication of fuel system components.
It is important to add Flashlube’s Winter Fuel Formula to the diesel fuel when the fuel’s temperature is above the onset of clouding, which is approximately 0°C.
Flashlube Winter Fuel Formula is available in convenient 50mL, 250mL, 500mL, 1L, 5L and 20L size bottles.
