ADRAD AND ZF CELEBRATE NEW PARTNERSHIP

The new partnership was celebrated with an event at ADRAD’s facility in Beverley, South Australia

In attendance were more than 100 staff from ADRAD headquarters and manufacturing facilities, members of the ZF team, as well as ZF Product and Technical Expert, the legendary Craig Lowndes, who attended as the event’s special guest.
“We were thrilled to celebrate the new supply partnership between ZF and our SACHS and SACHS MAX shock absorbers with ADRAD in our goal to reach more trade customers across Australia,” ZF Services Australia Head of Passenger Car Aftermarket Oceania, Darren Leyshon, said.
“During the event, ADRAD staff engaged with Craig in some special meet-and-greet and Q&A sessions, gaining valuable insights from a true icon of the automotive industry.
“A special highlight was the ADRAD ‘Show and Shine,’ with some truly special vehicles from staff on display, with Craig judging the winner.”
The partnership between ZF and ADRAD commenced in July 2023 when the entire range of SACHS and SACHS MAX shock absorbers were rolled into ADRAD warehouses across the country.
As a result, ADRAD customers now have ready access to “Europe’s number one shock absorber,” with SACHS shocks fitted to more than 10 million new vehicles every year.
With over 3,000 shock absorber references, the SACHS range covers more than 95 percent of the European car parc and more than 90 percent of the Australian car parc.
Single and twin tube shock absorbers are featured across the range, as are struts, boot service kits, and bump stops.
Service kits are packed as axle sets and provide protection against water, dust, and dirt, with bump stops protecting against over compression.
ZF says SACHS shock absorbers are distinguished in the market by their original equipment quality and innovative technology, to deliver “the ideal combination of performance and dynamics.”
It further states that SACHS shock absorbers ensure perfect road grip and cornering behaviour, no matter what challenges the road may present.

Also now available through ADRAD is the standalone range of SACHS shock absorbers for four-wheel-drives, off-road, and utility vehicles, known as SACHS MAX.
Designed specifically with Australia’s harsh conditions in mind, the SACHS MAX offering features larger pistons and cylinders, with the increased bore size resulting in shock absorbers that are said to be more durable, while continuing to offer the ultimate in safety.
This big bore design results in a reduction of heat and subsequently an improvement of consistency with heavy loads in rough terrain, especially when towing.
