AIRBAG MAN MEETS KIA TASMAN

Helping customers to “load it up and level it out”

What do the Loch Ness Monster, a unicorn, and Kia Tasman have in common? Earlier this year, all three were shrouded in mystery. But while the first two remain elusive, the Kia Tasman is here – and ready to tackle Australia’s and New Zealand’s toughest terrains.
Kia’s first ute doesn’t just look the part – it is built for heavy-duty adventure. With a towing capacity up to 3,500 kg, the Tasman is perfect for large caravans and long-distance touring, and anything your weekend plans throw at it – and this is where Airbag Man says its R&D team come in.
“We’ve been working hard to create a suspension helper kit specifically for the Tasman, designed to maintain your vehicle height under heavy loads,” General Manager, Ben Clamp, said
“Whether you’re towing, hauling trade gear, or loading up for an adventure, our adjustable support helps the rear suspension carry weight – without compromising ride comfort when you’re unloaded.
“By using a low-profile AB0120 Firestone airbag and registered design super low-profile bracketry, the kit fits snugly without adding unnecessary height.”
Right now, fitment is available for the X-Pro model (the most popular Tasman variant) or Tasman’s with raised rear suspension.
“To make it fit so perfectly our R&D team used a combination of visual inspections, 3D scanning, CAD modelling and test fitting,” Ben said.
“We worked closely with local Kia partners to ensure seamless installation that delivers real-world performance.
“The Airbag Man Kia Tasman X-Pro Leaf Helper Kit keeps the rear from sagging, maintains ride height and suspension geometry, improves front axle load, enhances steering feel, reduces braking distance and stabilises while towing.
“In short, it’s all about safer, smoother, and more controlled driving – with uneven or heavy loads.”
And Airbag Man says the benefits don’t stop there.
“The RR4764 kit shares load between the leaf pack and airbags, reducing the risk of bottoming out and protecting the leaf springs over time,” Ben said.
“If you need more support when towing you can add more air pressure. If you prefer a compliant, comfortable ride when the tray is empty, release some pressure. There is even the opportunity to install our air control system which includes our compact AC8002 air compressor which fits in the side tub drawer to provide instant adjustments.
“So, whether you’re a tradesperson, a towing enthusiast, or just love being prepared for anything, the Airbag Man Leaf Helper Kit makes the Kia Tasman even more capable.”
The new Kia Tasman X-pro Leaf Helper Kit is available to preorder now from Airbag Man.
