Tech company continues to impress the industry with new applications

Autodata says it is delighted to have won the ‘Best Stand 36 sq Metres and Under’ Award at the 2019 Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo. The judges were impressed with the stand’s stunning design, innovative use of striking graphics and visitor-friendliness.
Autodata claims that its stand provided the perfect stage to showcase Autodata’s trusted workshop application, which, according to the company, since the last AAA Expo in 2017 has seen considerable technical enhancements, ensuring Autodata maintains its 96 percent coverage of the cars on the road in Australia. Over the last two years, this has meant over 742 new models added and over 18,522 updates in total to new and existing vehicles for Australia alone.
However, it’s not just about adding new vehicles and updating existing technical information. Autodata has also rolled out numerous new features since the last show in 2017.
New features highlighted at the show included Autodata’s DTC (diagnostic trouble codes) module, which has been enhanced and now incorporates OE fixes for common faults and an ‘Assist Me’ diagnostic assistant – saving technicians even more time.
Recently-added modules were also showcased, including an all-new Tyres module, giving technicians quick and easy access to tyre pressures, tightening torques, TPMS info, jacking point locations and more; and a new Bulbs Replacement module, providing technicians with easy access to accurate bulb data along with a replacement guide for each type of bulb.
