Leading power management solutions provider, Projecta, has proven that big ideas can come in a small package with its clever new Intell-IQ Smart Relays taking out the ‘Most Innovative New Aftermarket Product – General Parts and Accessories’ award at this year’s Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo (AAAExpo).
Intelli-IQ Smart Relays offer both single-channel and multi-channel options, with Projecta stating they introduce a new era of programmable, digitally controlled switching for 12V and 24V* vehicle systems.
This technology is said to be a major advancement in the way accessories are controlled, which for many years has remained largely unchanged, relying on complex wiring and physical switches that clutter dashboards, especially in highly accessorised, modern touring vehicles.
By eliminating traditional fixed-function relays and physical switch panels, Intelli-IQ enables fully centralised accessory control through a smart interface.
When paired with the Projecta 2” Smart Display, users can operate auxiliary lighting and other accessories via the Intelli-IQ App on their smartphone, or seamlessly through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay where supported.
The Smart Display acts as the system’s digital command centre, integrating with the vehicle’s infotainment system to deliver switch-free, software-driven control.
