BRAKLEEN WATER BASED LAUNCHED

CRC has introduced a new product to its Brakleen line-up

CRC Industries has expanded its range of heavy-duty mechanical maintenance products with the addition of a “state of the art” water-based brake and parts cleaner to its industry-leading Brakleen family.
CRC says the new Brakleen Water Based is strong on grime yet easy on the planet; offering next-generation high performance cleaning technology which is pH neutral and safe on surfaces, users and the environment.
CRC Industries Trans-Tasman Managing Director, Murray Walbran, said the product had been scientifically formulated for use across the automotive, industrial and service industry sectors.
“We are very pleased to be launching Brakleen Water Based to the market, a unique product that combines outstanding high-performance degreasing and cleaning qualities with a very positive clean safety profile,’’ Murray said.
CRC Brakleen Water Based is biodegradable, non-toxic, non-hazardous, non-flammable, pH balanced, and water soluble. The advanced formula is powerful but non-abrasive, non-corrosive and solvent free.
It has been specially formulated to penetrate and dissolve tough grease, oil brake fluid, transmission fluid, hardened deposits and other contaminants – without the need for disassembly.
CRC Brakleen Water Based is said to be gentle on the environment, being biodegradable with all ingredients readily decomposable.
“These properties make it ideal for use in many applications especially where there are regulations or restrictions in place concerning the types of products that can be safely used or allowed onto sites,’’ Murray said.
“The product has no volatile organic vapours, making it ideal for use in confined spaces. It can also be safely rinsed into oil water separators.”
Applications for Brakleen Water Based include fast and effective cleaning of brake and clutch parts and general mechanical equipment.
Available in a 500ml aerosol, CRC Brakleen Water Based joins the Brakleen family consisting of Brakleen, Brakleen Force, Brakleen NF and Non-Chlorinated Brakleen in delivering superior parts-cleaning technology, explains CRC.
“Developed in 1971, CRC Brakleen was the original brake and parts cleaner and is still an industry leader today,” Murray said.
“In an ever-changing market, the launch of Brakleen Water Based is an important addition to CRC as we remain focussed on delivering innovative solutions to our customers whilst adhering to the strictest protocols for safety and the environment.”
