CAPRICORN RESPONDS TO COVID-19 WITH UNPRECEDENTED MEMBER PAYMENTS
In this column, Capricorn Society’s Group Chief Executive Officer, David Fraser, updates us on all things Capricorn
At Capricorn, we fully embrace our responsibility to look after our Members when they need it most.
For this reason, I am very pleased to announce an unprecedented dividend and rebate payment to all Capricorn Members.
In total, AUD 24.1 million* will be redistributed to Members by way of dividend payments and a special COVID-19 rebate.
The record payment is AUD 3.5 million more than rebates and dividend payments returned to Members last financial year and are a direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic which caused significant disruption to the industry.
Capricorn has a long history of generating wealth for its Members via reward points, rebates and dividend payments. We are proud that we can continue to provide this to Members.
In fact, shares in Capricorn have consistently returned distributions to Members over the years, including in periods of uncertainty and market instability such as the global financial crisis and the current COVID-19 crisis, which is a claim not many organisations can make.
These dividends have been strong when measured against returns from other investments, which provides a further compelling reason for being a Capricorn Member.
In addition to the dividend, Members receive a further return with the rebate based on their trade throughout the year.
Truly, it pays to be a Capricorn Member.
To share in the benefits of membership, I encourage all workshops to join Capricorn today. Simply email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1800 327 437 to get started as a Member in Australasia’s largest automotive cooperative.
Yours in cooperation,
Group CEO, Capricorn Society Ltd
