NAPA Auto Parts says Red Dot has the right combination for your needs

Red Dot says its range of HVAC units for transport and heavy machinery is unparalleled in the global market.
With units developed for trucking, industrial, construction and agriculture applications, each Red Dot thermal solution is said to be built to last in our rugged and demanding environment.
NAPA Auto Parts Senior Product Manager, Tim Boyd, says to ensure you get the performance you need from your air conditioning system, it is important to select the correct Red Dot unit for your application.
“This could be a self-contained rooftop unit, a ceiling mount evaporator, one that sits between the seats or elsewhere in the cab. With these units it is vital to pair the selected evaporator with the optimum condenser,” Tim said.
“Once you decide that you’re using a wall or ceiling evaporator, then match the condenser based on capacity, style and available mounting space.”
One of the most popular and iconic Red Dot rooftop units, the R6100, is perfect for on-highway applications while the recently re-designed R9727 is better suited to off-road use. The benefits of both these units include low-profile protrusion into the cab, maximising headroom and attractive aerodynamic designs which look great on the roof of your truck or machinery.
For cabs with a lot of glass and not suited to roof mounted units, ceiling mount units like the R2000 or R9715 are all about performance with minimal space; match them to a remote mount condenser unit to ensure they perform to your requirements.
For cabs with available wall and floor space then wall mounted units can be positioned between seats or anywhere alongside the operator. The R6840 or R7830 are compact designs for smaller cabs, while the R5045 and R8500 are suited to larger cabs which require plenty of cooling.
Remote condenser units, which are installed away from the cabin and commonly used in agricultural and off-road applications, should be matched with the selected evaporator. The R4500 and R5045 can be mounted behind the cab, on engine covers or frame rails. The R6160 and R8500 are typically mounted on the roof.
NAPA Auto Parts says you can rest assured that Red Dot has the right combination of units available for your vehicle, no matter the voltage or whether it is designed for off- or on-highway applications. It says Red Dot designs, tests and manufactures complete HVAC units and offers a wide range of spare parts including condensers, compressors, filters, thermostats, switches and fans for its own units and many OEM applications.
