CONNECTION THROUGH CHANGE

Capricorn Group CEO, Brad Gannon, reflects on AAAExpo

Brad Gannon, Group CEO, Capricorn Society Ltd

It was a pleasure to join the AAAA’s Stuart Charity, GPC Group’s Rob Cameron, and BAPCOR Group’s Chris Wilesmith on a panel at the recent Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo (AAAExpo) to discuss the aftermarket’s next advantage.
A clear theme emerged. As work shifts from mechanical repair to diagnostics-led service, the industry must adapt how it invests, charges for work, and builds its workforce.
I encourage all workshops to think about their people, their processes, and how they are capturing the value of their work.
Workshops should properly charge for their labour and wisely invest in their business only as needed. How prepared is your business for the shift that is already underway?
The recent AAAExpo was another great example of the industry coming together to share perspectives, challenge thinking, and focus on what matters for the future of the Aftermarket.
A huge congratulations to the whole team at the AAAA, we look forward to the next one!
As the financial year comes to a close, many businesses are balancing planning, performance, and ongoing pressure.
Global uncertainty continues to influence local conditions, reinforcing the importance of staying connected and focused on practical ways to operate efficiently and sustainably.
Capricorn plays an important role in this, offering members access to a trusted network of suppliers and support to help navigate day-to-day challenges.
