CoolDrive Auto Parts says it is fast growing a reputation as a market leader in brakes, with a wide selection of product lines now offered

Currently available from CoolDrive is the company’s latest Brakes Program Guide: a 20-page brochure outlining product highlights from renowned aftermarket suppliers such as Brembo, Bosch, Fremax, Bremtec, Akebono, HULK 4×4, Stolz and more.
Featuring the latest developments and news, the guide also contains special offers exclusive to CoolDrive customers.
“Although we have only been in the brake business for 18 months, we are proud to showcase what has quickly grown to become a solid range of products available now from CoolDrive,” CoolDrive Auto Parts Chief Executive Officer, John Blanchard, said.
“Our aim is to build a market leading brake program, using global brands covering the full range of street, performance and track products, all under the one roof.
“We have many exciting new additions coming as well, to cover all aspects of your braking product requirements.
“We continue to recruit and grow our team of brake specialists to provide expert advice and technical support, including industry leading training and accreditation.”

Brembo
New to the line-up of braking products is the Brembo brand, which CoolDrive says covers an impressive 96 percent of the Australian car parc.
Brembo’s reputation is said to be founded on unique working relationships developed with more than 30 global automotive manufacturers, including Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Chrysler, Dodge, Ferrari, Ford, General Motors (GM), Honda, Infiniti, Jaguar, Jeep, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Lexus, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche and Subaru.
With parts made available to the aftermarket produced in the same plants as the OE components, the brand carries significant currency within the workshop community.
Further adding to this reputation is motorsport success at the highest levels of Formula 1, the World Rally Championship, MotoGP, NASCAR and sports car racing, all of which continues to improve the breed of road vehicle products.
At the top of the Brembo range are High Performance Kits specifically developed for track day enthusiasts, with premium quality systems for cars such as the Ford Mustang GT, Porsche 991 GT3/GT3RS and Subaru Impreza WRX, to name a few.
Covering the wider road car range, CoolDrive explains that Brembo disc brakes are the result of years of research and development, laboratory and road testing; with a rotor range that provides excellent performance, reliability, durability and comfort in all conditions.
The OE quality parts feature a special UV coating which CoolDrive says guarantees superior corrosion resistance, while a patented venting system design improves resistance to thermal cracks of the disc by over 40 percent and a high carbon content in the cast iron minimises vibrations and noise, while maximising performance and driving comfort.
The perfect match to the disc brake range are Brembo brake pads, with the company once again controlling all levels of production, ensuring the highest quality parts for the consumer.
Available in Low-Metallic, NAO and Xtra ranges, Brembo matches the ideal friction material to each application, all while offering high performance and minimal noise, with a wide range of accessories and fitting kits making for hassle-free installation.

Bosch
Also offered through CoolDrive Auto Parts is the latest offering from Bosch, headlined by the Blue Line range of brake pads, perfect for Australian, Asian and European vehicles, with OE quality parts available in an assortment of friction materials, including ceramic, copper-free ceramic and low metallic.
CoolDrive says the product line delivers benefits such as smooth, quiet stopping power, all while lowering rotor wear.
Bosch brake discs meanwhile display a high level of thermal conductivity, accuracy of fit, as well as mechanical and thermal stability.
Constructed to tight tolerances, Bosch discs offer low run out, which in turn diminishes the effects of disc thickness variation that ultimately can lead to pedal vibrations, pulsation and noise.

Fremax
A recent addition to the CoolDrive brake catalogue is the Fremax range of brake discs and drums, which have earned a solid reputation over the past 30 years of production, with the company manufacturing more than 5,000,000 pieces annually for over 1,800 applications.
An OE supplier to marques such as Mitsubishi and Renault, CoolDrive says Fremax components offer an ideal combination of quality, innovation and safety, with key features being that all Fremax brake disc rotors are High-Carbon as standard, have a patented groove on the surface face of the rotor for faster bedding in and offer a special protective oil that does not contaminate brake pads and eliminates wash off before assembly; making them easier, faster and safer to install.

Bremtec
Another highlight of the CoolDrive Brakes Guide is the extensive Bremtec Brakes range, which totals 3,400 part numbers covering 21.5 million cars, from all corners of the motoring spectrum.
Offering cleaner, quieter and safer braking, Bremtec’s TRADE-LINE brake pads all now feature an advanced ceramic formulation for a wide range of everyday passenger cars from around the world, complemented by accompanying rotors.
The Bremtec EURO-LINE Ceramic+ brake pads, and Geozinc rotors are constructed with the highest quality materials, especially for European sourced cars such as BMWs, Mercedes-Benz and Audis.
Meanwhile, the Bremtec PRO-LINE heavy duty brake pads offer a premium upgrade for heavy duty applications, with a range covering popular four-wheel drives, SUVs and light commercial vehicles.
Along similar lines, the ENDURE-LINE 4WD+ brake pads are engineered for consistent brake pedal feel, even with heavy loads and for extreme driving off-road conditions.
Rounding out the Bremtec range is the PERFORMANCE+ range of pads, offering outstanding continued performance in sustained use, with a special focus being prestige European high-performance models and other locally produced performance cars.

Akebono
Akebono – reportedly the number one choice for OEMs in Japan and North America – features prominently in the CoolDrive brake offering, with a range that has been developed from 85 years of industry experience.
Providing up to 50 percent longer lasting wear, Akebono pads virtually eliminate all dust, all while providing a smooth and quiet ride.
HULK 4X4
The four-wheel drive market is catered for with CoolDrive’s own HULK 4X4 range, which offers a big performance boost through forged six piston callipers, as well as 356mm slotted and dimpled rotors.
One popular line is HULK 4X4’s rear drum brake to disc conversions, with stopping distances reportedly improved by up to 34 percent, all from a fully ADR approved kit.
The HULK 4X4 line-up is complete with upgrades for all popular models, including the Toyota LandCruiser and Hilux, Ford Ranger, Mazda BT-50, and Mitsubishi Triton, amongst others.

Stolz
Wrapping up the main product lines is the Stolz SFZ Series premium performance braking system upgrades, with four or six piston calliper configurations, with a direct bolt-on solution featuring aluminium light weight callipers, two pcs floating disc rotors, bracket and ceramic performance brake pads, for a host of applications.
Completing the offering for workshops is an extensive range of quality consumables that get the job done right, including brake fluids, cleaners, greases and lubes.
