COOLDRIVE RAISES FUNDS FOR RESCUE HELICOPTERS

More than $24,000NZD was raised at the recent Supercars event in New Zealand

CoolDrive Auto Parts and the Blanchard Racing Team (BRT) came together in New Zealand recently to raise funds and awareness for the Westpac Rescue Helicopters New Zealand.
Through a collaboration with New Zealand customers, a road-going Ford Mustang of CoolDrive Racing sported a one-off livery showcasing CoolDrive’s support for this vital service.
“The Westpac Rescue Helicopters New Zealand plays a critical role in providing rapid medical care and rescue operations across the country, and we were proud to support them in our recent community fundraiser,” CoolDrive Auto Parts Business Development Manager – New Zealand, Shaun Mold, said.
“We are incredibly grateful to our CoolDrive trade customers and local businesses who generously donated over $24,000 NZD which has been donated to Philips Search and Rescue Trust to support the Westpac Rescue Helicopters and their life-saving operations.
“Our sincerest thanks and appreciation to all who were involved, with a special mention to Matamata Panelworks and Isaac Performance Vehicles, for their generosity and support.”
The eye-catching livery was showcased by CoolDrive Racing at the Taupo Supercars event in April, with BRT drivers James Courtney and Aaron Love in attendance at a special event celebrating the collaboration.
Covering Auckland, Waikato, Wellington, and Christchurch, the Westpac Rescue Helicopters are equipped with advanced medical equipment and highly trained personnel, enabling them to respond effectively during emergencies and natural disasters.
