COOLDRIVE REINFORCES COMMITMENT TO AUTOMOTIVE WORKSHOPS

The company’s Technical Training Program is set to return

CoolDrive Auto Parts says it continues to ensure its workshop partners can be equipped for the future of the industry with confirmation its Technical Training Program will return in 2023.
Following years of successful partnership, CoolDrive’s Technical Training Program will once again be supported by Bosch Australia, with numerous sessions to be held across the country throughout the year.
“At CoolDrive, we very much understand
the challenges facing workshops today when it comes to technical advances within modern vehicles,” CoolDrive Auto Parts General Manager – Training and Development, Scott Williamson, said.
“The importance of training, both staying up to date and upskilling, with ever-changing vehicle technology is vital for workshops to continue and improve their service offerings.
“Our comprehensive training sessions cover a range of topics which workshops in today’s environment face, and ensure attendees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and hands-on experience of new and emerging technologies as well.”
A wide range of categories are covered in this year’s schedule including Electrical and Electronics; Alternative Drives; Gasoline; Chassis and Braking; Diesel; as well as Diagnostics and Test Equipment.
Headlining courses include ‘Electronic Fundamentals and Diagnosis,’ ‘Electronic Battery Management,’ and ‘Hybrid and Electrical Vehicle Systems,’ while for Diesel workshops, courses cover ‘Diesel Exhaust and Emission Systems’ and ‘Common Rail System Diagnosis.’
CoolDrive has also recently increased its product and service offerings around vehicle diagnostics and ADAS – both of which are covered in the training program with dedicated courses.
“Alongside these new and emerging technologies, the new ‘right to repair’ legislation is having an impact on the industry and, where relevant, our training courses address this, to ensure workshops continue to have access to the relevant vehicle manufacturer information,” Scott said.
The 2023 Technical Training Program will continue to be taught by CoolDrive’s experienced team which utilises a mix of automotive industry trainers, trade teachers, dealership technicians and partnerships with industry associations.
The team also recently supported the Autocare 2023 Technical Training Program, running multiple sessions across the event’s two days.
The full schedule and further information on the 2023 Technical Training Program is available via local CoolDrive branches.
