An easy way to install/remove a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)

Hydraulic Lifting Equipment company Shinn Fu Australia says the Omega Lift 46500A is designed to ease the removal and installation of a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and Step Housings.
It is designed to lower labour costs while increasing operating efficiency and is intended to be used in conjunction with other required safety equipment by professionals skilled in the trade of maintenance for large trucks and similar vehicles.
This new equipment has been designed so it can be easily operated by one person, so lowering and reinstalling a large and bulky DPF is less trouble.
Its four swivel casters allow the product to be positioned and aligned into the proper orientation for easy removal and installation.
Meanwhile, the adjustable saddle – which measures 403mm deep and 790mm wide – can extend to 1092mm to allow for a multitude of DPFs and step housings to be loaded on.
The Omega DPF handler with a patent pending design has a 227kg load capacity that can manage a single or double model cannister.
The unit also comes with tie down straps that helps quickly secure and stabilise the load prior to its complete removal from the vehicle.
Rubber Coated Parts Prevent Damage to DPF/Step Housings and minimise scratching from contacting the saddle while smooth rolling 360-degree casters allow for great mobility so that you may easily manoeuvre the lift into position and easily line up bolts for reinstallation.
