FROM THE RACETRACK TO THE WORKSHOP
Mechanix Gloves are now available at CoolDrive Auto Parts branches across Australia and New Zealand
From its racetrack origins of 90s NASCAR pit stops, to local use in the 2021 CoolDrive Racing workshop, CoolDrive Auto Parts says Mechanix gloves represent time tested quality and trust.
The Mechanix range reportedly shines in automotive workshops, with specialised options to suit all needs of the modern mechanic, with features including cut resistance, high dexterity and even chemical abrasion protection.
The gloves are made from synthetic leather with the back manufactured from TrekDry, a moisture wicking material to keeps hands cool in all conditions.
The Original is the ideal multipurpose glove, and is available in a range of colours and sizes, including the Black, High-Vis and the “CoolDrive Auto Parts Blue.”
There is also a Women’s Original Pink Camo, and a Speciality Grip range, where the palms are covered in a durable Armortex Grip.
The Mechanix FastFit is the Original glove, but with a longer cuff, designed to facilitate quick donning on-and-off, perfect for users between multiple tools day-to-day.
The SpeedKnit CoolMax gloves are constructed with 13-gauge CoolMax fabric technology to help transport perspiration away from the hand, and are coated with foam latex for a textured grip to allow professionals to work with confidence in dry and wet conditions.
Also, in the SpeedKnit range is the Cut 5 S2EC06 glove which offers the highest level of dexterity and cut resistance to protect working hands with ANSI A3 blade-cut resistance.
The Mechanix range at CoolDrive also includes a range for the track side mechanic, Knee Pads and Heat Sleeves offer protections when speed is the key on race day.
