Gates Australia, a leading manufacturer of application-specific fluid power and power transmission solutions, has announced they will be attending the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo.
Gates Australia will be exhibiting at Stand K42 during this year’s expo. The stand will showcase a number of new and popular automotive products which cover a wide range of systems including cooling, accessory belt drive, synchronous belt drive and tools including modular hoses and Gates’ latest complete system replacement campaign, ‘Protect the Ride.’
Modular hoses are commonly found across most European cars going back to 2006. Modular hoses are now found in almost all current vehicles and present great sales opportunities for distributors, resellers and workshops alike.
The Protect the Ride campaign has three parts covering the serpentine, timing and cooling systems and advocates for complete system replacement, ensuring more profitable jobs for workshops and less customer comebacks.
Gates explains that all parts of these systems wear at the same time, so if one part of the system needs replacing, all the components are likely to need replacing and if not done this way, it is more than likely that the customer will return with additional system repairs sooner rather than later due to a failed component.

Gates will also be hosting ‘Happy Hour’ on the Friday night of the expo from 6.00pm to 7.00pm, with everyone attending the expo during this time welcome to enjoy free drinks on the Gates stand and network with other professionals – and they might even be lucky enough to meet a Supercars driver.
