GMB CELEBRATING CONTINUED GROWTH
With an ever increasing range and a commitment to quality, GMB is proud to serve the Aftermarket

GMB has seen significant growth since the establishment of its first DC in the Oceanic region and to ensure it meets the expectations of its growing loyal customer base for the future, the company has announced that a second DC will be established shortly.
“It is excellent to see GMB products becoming widely accepted by mechanics in the region and the value it adds to their business. Mechanics the world over trust GMB products for quality and reliability,” GMB Chief Executive Officer, Steve Hampson, said.
“In line with our commitment to quality products, we established our GMB research centre in 2024 with an investment of 20 million dollars.
“Our new research centre will ensure quality remains the top priority alongside new product developments for our OEM partners and the global Aftermarket.”
GMB Water Pumps
GMB continues to expand its range of Water Pumps, with the company stating this ensures the best vehicle coverage available to meet the demands of its large customer base.
Currently there are 1000 Water Pumps in the range, with new additions added each month.
GMB also manufactures many types of bearings and distributes them to a global market.
“We started out as a bearing manufacturer in 1943 and growth through the years has continued ever since, as customers realise, quality products mean everything,” Steve said.
“Customers know they can rely on GMB bearings. GMB only manufactures the highest-quality bearings with proper high-grade steel, precision bearing race machining and polishing.
“GMB uses roller bearings for all high-load applications, ensuring proven reliability.”
GMB manufactured bearings are the heart of the water pump and experience the highest stress during operation.
“Many cheaper Water Pump brands use Low-grade materials, poor machining, and improper grease selection which could cause higher internal wear of the bearing components,” Steve said.
“This results in a much lower life expectancy for the bearing, and thus the water pump.
“Roller bearings have higher load capacity and durability compared to ball bearings, which are necessary for proper operation with high-load applications.”
GMB Mechanical Shaft Seals are made with proprietary elastomers and agents for protection and sealing power, while GMB Shaft Seals utilise carbon and ceramic sealing surfaces for superior wear resistance, says GMB, which explains the shaft seal is crucial in preventing leakage from the coolant system and is the most common failure point on a water pump.
“For quality and reliability you can count on, make sure to use a GMB water pump,” Steve said.
GMB Fan Clutches
GMB has more than 170 Fan Clutch part numbers in the current range.
GMB says not all fan clutches are the same, and the following is what makes GMB’s Fan Clutches stand out.
High-Quality Carbon Steel Flange (Ball Bearings)
GMB states that it uses high-quality carbon steel that is made to withstand high impacts, have high billet density, and have high deformation resistance.
Every GMB Ball Bearing is machine press-fitted to the main case using the correct force range, and GMB Fan Clutch components are manufactured to match the exact OEM specification.
GMB Electric Water Pumps
GMB has a current range of more than 110 Electric Water Pumps, including auxiliary water pumps.
“GMB Electric Water Pumps feature high quality Self-Lubricating Carbon Steel in many internal components to prevent oxidation, ensure smooth rotation of the shaft, and lower operational noise, which prevents premature failure,” Steve said.
“GMB Water Pump Housings and Harnesses are manufactured to match the exact OEM material specifications ensuring up to a 99.99 percent accuracy with tight tolerance limits to ensure proper Fit, Form and Function.
“GMB uses the highest quality Korean grade laminates that maintain a uniform magnetism so that each pump efficiently outputs the correct amount of power. This ensures consistent flow rates under the highest demands that vehicles require.
“Most Electronic Water Pumps in the market come from various countries with inconsistent regulations and levels of quality varying greatly from batch to batch.
“This inconsistent quality control can lead to improper output power and a wide range of performance levels causing inadequate function of the cooling system and unpredictable failure rates.”
GMB supplies Electronic Water Pumps to many OEM’s using its patented technology.

GMB Drive Belts
GMB has a current range of over 4000 Drive Belts in the range.
GMB Drive belts are engineered to provide reliable and efficient power transmission for your vehicle’s engine.
“Made with high-quality materials and advanced manufacturing processes to meet the GMB quality standard, our drive belts are designed to withstand the toughest operating conditions and deliver optimal performance and reliability,” Steve said.
Key features include:
• Premium OE specification tension cords for minimal stretch.
• Superior grade EPDM and HNBR rubber used to provide high durability and strength.
• High temperature and chemical resistance ensuring long life and optimum performance.
“GMB uses cutting-edge technology to produce drive belts with exceptional durability, wear resistance, and thermal stability, making them ideal for even the toughest operating conditions,” Steve said.
“Many of our customers have realised that you can have exceptional OE quality belts at exceptional prices!”
GMB Premium Drive Belt Tensioners, and Idler Pulleys
GMB has more than 600 Drive Belt Tensioners and Pulleys in the current range with new additions added each month.
GMB has a Belt Tensioner and Idler Pulley program that offers extensive coverage of the Oceanic Car Parc.
“The current GMB range covers over 600 part numbers with an additional 50 currently being developed at our research and manufacturing plant. At the heart of every GMB belt tensioner and idler pulley is a precision GMB bearing,” Steve said.
“Not all tensioner and idler bearings are manufactured the same. GMB Premium OE Quality Tensioners, Idler Pulleys, and Timing Components are precision-manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications.
“Engines of today are very different in terms of how belt driven accessories such as the alternator, the air conditioning compressor, and hydraulic power steering pump are driven.
“The much higher loads now placed on the drive belts and the variation in loads due to changing demand and engine vibration caused by this variation needs to be controlled.”
GMB Timing Belt Kits and Components
GMB has a comprehensive range of Timing Belt Kits and individual Tensioners and Pulleys.
GMB says it performs quality assurance through rigorous industry-leading testing and control methods based on extensive research and proven proprietary processes.

GMB Wheel Bearings and Hub Assembleys
GMB has a current range of over 680 Wheel Hub Assemblies with new additions added each month.
GMB Bearings are manufactured with high grade GCR15 steel which is used to prevent premature failure due to extreme temperatures and high loads during normal operating conditions.
GMB Wheel Bearing and Hub Assemblies contain specially formulated bearing grease.
“This special bearing grease has superior lubrication, enhanced thermal dissipation, water wash-out resistance, and better ability to lock in oils to keep the bearings rolling at optimal performance!” Steve said.
GMB Hub Bearing Assemblies use triple and quadruple lip sealing technology. This technique uses high temperature resistant rubber to achieve maximum bearing protection against dust, water and road debris.
ABS sensors used with GMB Wheel Hub Assemblies are manufactured with premium wire casings with 99.90 percent pure copper on the internal wiring for superior electrical conductivity and optimal performance.
“Our sensors are rigorously tested using the latest state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that the signal waves meet or exceed OE specs, and Electromagnetic Radiation Detectors to detect noise to eliminate radio interference,” Steve said.
