HELLA AUSTRALIA’S THERMAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAM GROWS

Hella Australia has added Mahle thermal management components to its product portfolio

Earlier this year, Hella Australia became the exclusive distributor of the comprehensive range of Mahle thermal management products in Australia and New Zealand.
The distribution agreement follows Mahle’s recent acquisition of Hella’s shareholding in BEHR Hella Service.
Thermal management is a key technology for any drive type. It improves the efficiency of combustion engines and in electric vehicles, the economical use of hot and cold currents determines the vehicle’s performance and cruising range as well as the service life of the battery.
Integrated thermal management is therefore a prerequisite for the ongoing development of e-mobility.
Hella says Mahle is a leading international development partner and supplier to the automotive industry as well as a pioneer and technology driver for the mobility of the future.
The new distribution agreement provides Hella Australia customers with access to a much broader portfolio of premium thermal management products for passenger car, light commercial vehicles, heavy goods vehicles and off-highway vehicles.
The Mahle thermal management programme comprises of 3,600 engine cooling and air conditioning components, including Mahle’s wide range of Original Equipment parts such as Visco fans and blade assemblies for the Volvo FM series, radiators and heater blower fans for Volvo FH series vehicles, expansion tanks for Mercedes-Benz Bus and intercoolers for the Nissan Navara and Pathfinder.
Also on offer is the Mahle air conditioning compressor, which is suitable for BMW1, X1 and 3 Series models (pictured).
