HSP CELEBRATES AT AAAE

The HSP Roll R Cover Series 3 was awarded as the Most Innovative New Aftermarket Product in the Accessories category

After three years HSP has returned to the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo. With so much time away from any trade stands, the HSP team was eager to display its new suite of products and show what it has been up to.
HSP’s hero product, the HSP Roll R Cover Series 3, was also nominated for the Most Innovative New Aftermarket Product (accessory) for 2022, taking out the win – the second show in a row at which HSP has won this award (the first being for the HSP Tail Lock in 2019).
The HSP Stand included four displays that covered its whole suite of products including the award-winning Roll R Cover Series 3.
The team at HSP states they had been working on the Series 3 Roll R Cover since 2016 and had only released it in 2021 during the Pandemic.
The key differences between series 2 and 3 are the whole unit is a lot more modular, it has more advanced water drainage, a universal track built into the side rails and of course, the triple operation (being a mobile app, touchpad and factory remote integration).
These features are not only a step-up from the series 2 cover but are very individual to HSP as there is reportedly no other cover in the world with all these features.
On the stand was also HSP’s new sports bar named ‘Armour Bar’ which was showcased for the first time, prior to its anticipated release in May.
The new sports bar is a different style of product for HSP as they have mainly concentrated on covers and tub accessories, however the team says the product was very well received by the crowds and was a great way to show the industry and public the product and get some hype around it.
The team at HSP has managed to keep all manufacturing of its core products in Australia and has recently built its third manufacturing facility in Victoria, which is set to open in the next month.
“The new purpose-built facility will help HSP keep up with current demands as well as expand our products internationally,” HSP Director of Development, Max Aimaq, said.
“We are so excited to see what the future of manufacturing in Australia will mean for HSP.”
