Upskill your team, expand your services, grow your business

One of Australia’s most experienced auto electrical aftermarket parts specialists, JAS Oceania, knows how important it is to supply the right parts to the trade.
The Australian company’s commitment to training is equally important as sourcing and distributing the world’s best quality replacement auto electrical parts.
With the ever-increasing diversity of the Australian car parc along with the advancement of electrical components and mobility technology, access to detailed training has become more critical than ever before.
In understanding the value of quality employee training, JAS Oceania has announced the establishment of the company’s own Technical Training Team at the 2022 Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 7 to 9.
The JAS Technical Training Team is headed by auto electrical parts, repair, sales and service industry veterans Mark Bailey and Paul Keenan, who share a collective 85 years of industry experience. Mark and Paul will be displaying a number of their detailed training programs on Stand N2 throughout the 2022 AAA Expo.
The JAS Oceania technical training program also encompasses numerous short courses for staff training, including easily accessible videos on the eJAS website for common vehicle and product issues.
In addition, over 200 technical information sheets have been created that are emailed on each “Tech Tip Tuesday” to their trade customers.
The JAS Oceania Technical Training Team also offers a range of tailor-made short auto electrical and air conditioning system courses, delivered from their dedicated training facility or via onsite training sessions at customer business location(s).
The range of courses in development include Alternator and Starter operation, Diagnostics and Testing – common faults and potential cause for failure, Air Conditioning Diagnostics and Repair, Air Conditioning Service and Recharge, Customer Service and Sales Training, Management Development and Modern Charging Systems. Online Staff Technical Training Programs include the following modules: Auto Electrical Rotating, Air Conditioner, Batteries, Battery Charging, IT and WHS and Safe practices.
“We recognise that employees are an invaluable asset. Supporting them to increase their knowledge will help to grow your business,” JAS Group Training Manager, Mark Bailey, said.
“It has never been more important for auto electrical businesses to be well trained given the emphasis on auto electrical components and technology in today’s cars.
“The development of the JAS Technical Training Team has grown from internal development to become a unique and highly detailed service to assist our valued trade customers.
“We welcome our trade customers to visit us at the AAA Expo to learn more about our detailed and freely available training programs.”
JAS says its Technical Training Team is there to support its trade customers to upskill their employees, expand their services and grow their businesses. It states this is an ongoing commitment to provide quality trade customer training across all facets of the auto electrical aftermarket.
