Thanks to Remote King

Why don’t auto electricians, mechanics and tyres stores offer replacement keys, asks Remote King.
The company says that the answer is now they do, or if they don’t, they should be.
“When a customer walks into your shop, the first thing that they hand you is the keys to their car and this is generally where the first problem begins: my remote doesn’t work, the key shell is broken or please don’t lose it I don’t have a spare!” Remote King Managing Director, Ian Wood, said.
“Well, this should be your first upsell for the day!
“With changes to technology, cutting your keys takes just a push of a button, thanks to Remote King’s fully automated key cutting machines which make key cutting ‘child’s play.’”

Remote King has been supplying the locksmith, key cutting and hardware industry with products, training and support for more than 13 years. It supplies a range of keys, remotes and replacement key shells.
“My job is to see where or if a product fits in a marketplace. More recently we have seen an influx of mechanics and auto electricians servicing their customers with our equipment, with some now becoming big players in the key/remote space,” Ian said.
“Thanks to the evolution of fully automatic key cutting machines with built-in touch screens, cutting keys is now as simple as pushing two buttons: duplicate and cut.
“And if that’s not simple enough, remote King has added in-built training videos onto the cutting machine’s touch screen.
“There are also solutions for most advanced key cloning systems, with universal remotes and transponders now available.”
