LAST CHANCE FOR TICKETS TO VASA WIRE & GAS CONVENTION
Bosch Australia hybrid training session confirmed
VASA’s 25th anniversary Wire & Gas convention takes place on the Gold Coast early next month, so this is your last chance to secure tickets for 2018’s benchmark education, training and networking event for those working in automotive thermal management and electrical.
The convention returns to VASA’s birthplace, the Marriott Surfers Paradise Resort & Spa in Queensland on the weekend of August 3-5 2018.
In addition to strong ticket sales, VASA says Wire & Gas has attracted corporate sponsorship from Sanden, Adrad, JAS Oceania, Ashdown-Ingram, A-Gas, Refrigerants Australia, Unicla, Burgaflex, Opteon Refrigerants, CoolDrive and Behr Hella Service.
Bosch Australia trainer Scott Daly is now confirmed to deliver a presentation demystifying hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric drivetrains, demonstrating ways to safely and profitably work on these technologies.
Also presenting at Wire & Gas are Redarc Electronics Owner and Managing Director Anthony Kittel; leading automotive repair business mentor Rachael Sheldrick, AKA Workshop Whisperer; OEM-affiliated technical trainer and master diagnostician Peter Trees; respected automotive air-conditioning expert Grant Hand and AutoGuru founder/CEO Eden Shirley.
Findings from the latest research into safely storing, transporting and working with flammable refrigerants in an automotive service and repair environment will be delivered by Refrigerant Reclaim Australia General Manager Michael Bennet.
VASA directors Mark Mitchell and Darrel Hursey – both experts in their fields respected for making a lasting impact on the industry sectors they represent – will also be sharing their knowledge about the cold chain and working with heavy duty vehicles powered by Cummins diesel engines.
Formal networking opportunities, for which Wire & Gas is famed, will take place at the Marriott and kick off on the evening of Friday August 3 with Happy Hour in the trade show area.
A relaxed start to the Saturday will follow, with the trade show area open from breakfast until morning tea before the presentations and training begin. The day will conclude with the 25th Anniversary gala dinner with awards ceremony and live entertainment.
Sunday morning will start with transfers to SuperCool for practical training sessions and the event will finish up mid-afternoon to ease homeward travel connections for delegates.
