ADRAD has doubled the size of its Jrone Turbochargers range

It has been a year since ADRAD introduced Jrone Turbochargers to its parts range.
The company states it was anticipated that these products would be very well-received by the market, but the reaction from customers and sales have exceeded expectations.
Produced by a world leading original equipment and aftermarket turbocharger manufacturer with accreditation to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, these quality aftermarket products are designed and built to provide reliable operation and long service life.
ADRAD states that Jrone’s fully assembled products feature higher tolerance, and a more precisely balanced Centre Housing Rotating Assembly (CHRA) compared with some found in OE parts.
ADRAD also notes that what it describes as a superior CHRA produces less vibration at high RPMs, which means reduced accumulated wear to the turbocharger over the course of its service life.
Jrone Turbochargers also feature sophisticated technology including rotary electric actuation (REA) for faster response times and more precise turbo control to help improve engine performance, fuel efficiency and emissions control, explains ADRAD.
The number of Jrone Turbochargers in ADRAD’s range today is more than double that when they were launched last August.
The initial turbo offering was focused on 4×4, SUV and light commercial vehicle applications, but the expanded range now also caters for European passenger cars (VW, Audi, Skoda, Mercedes, and Landrover) and even trucks (Volvo and Hino).
Those looking for quality aftermarket turbos to suit engines for the Mark 6 and 7 VW Golf (and associated VW group models) can choose from seven part numbers available from ADRAD.
ADRAD notes that some in the range are Variable-Nozzle Turbochargers (VNT), predominantly for diesel applications.
VNT uses small shifting vanes around the turbocharger’s turbine wheel that adjust the speed and direction of turbine gasses.
This minimises turbo lag, providing responsive throttle and improved torque at low speeds – and for preventing over-boosting at high speeds.
ADRAD’s range of Jrone Turbochargers suit makes including Audi, Ford, Haval, Hino, Holden, Hyundai, Isuzu, Kia, Landrover, Mazda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Skoda, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo and are available at ADRAD warehouses across the country.
