NAPA AUTO PARTS OPENS 20TH STORE
The new NAPA store is the largest in the southern hemisphere
In August NAPA Auto Parts opened its 20th store, with NAPA Coopers Plains in Queensland the latest branch to join the NAPA Auto Parts family as its growth across the country continues.
Servicing local trade and automotive specialists in South East Queensland, NAPA Coopers Plains is reportedly now the largest NAPA-branded home of specialist parts in the Southern hemisphere.
NAPA explains that the Coopers Plains branch is a 2,600sqm store located in the industrial hub of Southeast Queensland and will house one of the country’s widest range of specialist products.
The local team is said to be very experienced and armed with diverse knowledge in all areas of the automotive aftermarket, including industrial.
The new location will enable them to house the extensive range and provisions for expansion, with new brands and products from world-renowned suppliers becoming available.
With exceptional knowledge and experience in automotive electrical, thermal and mechanical, NAPA says its Coopers Plains store represents the amalgamation of reputable businesses in the community, including Ashdown-Ingram (AI) Archerfield, AI Ipswich, and K&M Automotive Services.
NAPA General Manager, Scott MacDonald, is excited about the expansion and its potential in Australia.
“Merging the strong teams from Ashdown Ingram Archerfield and Ipswich, along with the K&M Automotive group, creates a very established and experienced team who are able to continue to provide exceptional service to our customers and build on new opportunities,” Scott said.
The NAPA Auto Parts brand launched in Australia in April 2019. While the name may still be new, the expertise and knowledge of the team stems from a rich 90-year history in the industry.
NAPA Coopers Plains is the seventh store to open in Queensland, with a number of additional stores being rolled out across the country. NAPA says this represents the business’ strategic plan to build on its existing capabilities to ensure it is able to service customers with the right part at the right time.
NAPA Coopers Plains now joins Emerald, Mackay, Rockhampton, Slacks Creek, Townsville and Toowoomba as Queensland stores.
The brand also has locations in WA, VIC, ACT and NSW, with more branches opening this year.
NAPA is expecting to grow to over 125 locations across Australia and New Zealand as part of a rigorous roll out.
