New cordless impact wrenches pack a punch

Milwaukee Tool says it is proud to introduce its powerful new M12 FUEL Right Angle Impact Wrenches.
“When completing applications that allow limited access, professionals are limited to using pneumatic or brushed-motor right angle impacts. However, the limited portability and torque associated with these solutions has been a frustration for these users,” Milwaukee Tool Product Manager, Michael Di Lorio, said.
“Due to our extensive research with users on the jobsite and in workshops, we saw an opportunity to create a cordless solution that not only boasts the benefits of no compressors, hoses, and routine maintenance, but is also equipped with a low-profile design and higher torque to tackle these types of applications.”
Available in 3/8” and 1/2” sizes, the new M12 FUEL Right Angle Impact Wrenches are equipped with a long body profile, providing more access and ultimate control in hard to reach applications.
The low-profile head of only 71mm for the 3/8” and 75mm for the 1/2” easily fits into tight spaces and allows users to be more productive, decreasing the need for socket extensions commonly used with pistol-grip impact tools.

The M12 FUEL Right Angle Impacts’ POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 300Nm of nut-busting torque, removing stubborn bolts and fasteners; while its REDLINK PLUS Intelligence ensures you achieve maximum performance and protection against overloads, over-heating, and over-discharge.
When paired with the Milwaukee M12 REDLITHIUM Battery Packs (not included), Milwaukee says the Right Angle Impact Wrenches have the power and speed to tackle various applications without dips in performance.
In addition, the wrenches have been designed with a four-mode DRIVE CONTROL feature, providing users “unmatched control” and the versatility to switch between modes to match the power and speed necessary for the application at hand.
Modes one to three provide RPM and IPM adjustments for maximum precision, and Mode four is equipped with Auto Shut-off in forward and Bolt Removal Mode in reverse. The Auto Shut-off Mode will prevent over-tightening of bolts by applying no more than 20Nm of torque while the Bolt Removal Mode provides more control by drastically slowing down RPMs once the bolt is loosened.
