NEW TAG TOWBARS
New Heavy Duty Three-Piece Towbars and Extended Towbars released
TAG Towbars has been engineering and manufacturing towbars and towing accessories for over 35 years and has recently released its new Heavy Duty Three-Piece Towbars and Extended Towbars.
The TAG Heavy Duty Three-Piece Towbar has been engineered to maintain the strength and ADR compliance of a single-piece towbar while allowing a quicker and easier one-person installation. It features a two-stage prime and powder coated finish for maximum durability and a plug bracket with provisions for two x Anderson Plugs.
The TAG Extended Towbar is designed to maintain the towing capacity and strength of a standard towbar on extra and dual cabs with trays/service bodies. Where previously owners would install an extended hitch receiver, this would significantly reduce the vehicle’s tow rating. The TAG Extended Towbar instead uses reinforced extended sidearms to bring the tow ball out to the rear of the vehicle while maintaining the maximum towing capacity (up to 3500kg/350kg).
Located in Brisbane, TAG Towbars has warehouses in Townsville, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. TAG products are available from parent company SWD (formerly Proex Automotive and Spareco) and Authorised TAG Distributors.
All new TAG towbars are tested with FEA Simulation/Analysis and Static Bench Test to meet AS4177.
The TAG Towing Group says it is a rapidly expanding Distribution, Reseller and Installation group of like-minded independent businesspeople.
