NEXT GENERATION HOIST AND WHEEL SERVICE EQUIPMENT

Available now from Snap-on

Snap-on Tools Australia and New Zealand says it is proud to announce the launch of a range of Snap-on branded, high quality, efficiency building wheel service and hoist equipment to suit the automotive dealership and aftermarket repair industries.
The new Snap-on equipment includes vehicle hoists, wheel balancers and tyre changers which Snap-on says have been built with the same quality its products are renowned for, offering industry leading quality and technology, all designed for workshop technicians to save time and make the workshop an easier place to work.
The equipment workhorses in most automotive workshops are vehicle hoists and Snap-on has built a 4T two post hoist, a 5.4T two post hoist and a 3.5T service scissor list, which it says represent the three most popular workshop hoists in operation.
Snap-on’s 4T two poster is said to be no ordinary hoist. Thanks to a unique design, it can load symmetrically or asymmetrically and either forward or backward, making it like four hoists in one. The triple stage arms can handle Minis through to LWB SUVs.
The 5.4T Snap-on two post hoist is specifically designed for the larger SUV and light commercial vehicle market. It features wide opening and high opening to suit the larger vans and service vehicle bodies.
Meanwhile with fast service times and high volume in mind, the 3.5T capacity Snap-on Service Scissor is a great solution and extremely versatile thanks to a clever wheelbase design and different width configuration options. Low cars are a breeze thanks to the 115m low profile design, or it can be flush mounted via optional in ground kit.
If it is increased profit, efficiency and accuracy you are looking for, then Snap-on says its wheel balancer range has five models to suit every workshop situation. From the top of the range feature packed Snap-on EEWB334APAUS, down to the hand spin Snap-on EEWB330AUS, Snap-on says they all come with Snap-on’s unique “Virtual Plane Imaging” (VPI) technology. VPI means you should only need to place weight once and as a result, Snap-on says the new range are considered the most accurate balancers on the market.
Wheel servicing via a tyre changer is another great way to extend your workshop’s capability and Snap-on says it has two different units to suit all workshop requirements. The T50 Super is feature packed for high volume workshops and large diameter and wide rims. The T3 Super is a medium volume tyre changer, but like the T50 Super, also features the ‘Pro Bead Assist’ – a pneumatic powered third arm to increase speed, ergonomics and safety.
Adding wheel balancers and tyre changers to a workshop can quickly become a profitable investment with a very low number of daily uses and Snap-on says its Trade Card Finance makes a decision to invest an easy process. It explains your Snap-on Franchisee can walk you through an ROI calculator to see what profit your workshop could generate with a Snap-on balancer or changer.
This new range of hoist and wheel service equipment is all backed and supported by a national network of local franchisees for regular customer service and Snap-on also offers an “industry leading” two-year warranty.
