In this column, Capricorn Society’s Group Chief Executive Officer, David Fraser, updates us on all things Capricorn

With so many reasons to be part of the cooperative it is easy to lose track of all the business building benefits that come with membership in Australia’s largest automotive cooperative.
To help our Members take full advantage of everything that is available to them, Capricorn has a number of new promotions running through October and November.
This includes the opportunity to win free fuel for a year from Caltex. To enter the draw, Members simply need to use their Capricorn Fuel Card to make a purchase of $30 or more at participating Caltex service stations.
Capricorn Fuel Cards are yet another benefit that make doing business more convenient. Through the use of the fuel cards, Members can consolidate more of their business expenses on their Capricorn Trade Accounts, saving time when it comes to doing the end-of-month accounts.
Like all purchases from the Capricorn Preferred Supplier network, all fuel card transactions earn Members Capricorn Rewards Points on every dollar spent. Combined with the special Caltex fuel discount, this can save up to four cents per litre off fuel purchases (excluding LPG) at participating service stations.
Speaking of Capricorn Rewards, many Members like to redeem their points to purchase Christmas gifts for their staff and families (or even themselves).
To ensure these gifts are delivered in time via Australia’s COVID-19 affected postal services, Capricorn is hosting “Purple Day” on Wednesday, 21 October. This one-day only event encourages Members to get their Christmas redemptions done early with some big savings available on selected products in the new Capricorn Rewards website.
Finally, following on from the release of Capricorn’s State of the Nation report, Capricorn will be hosting a series of webinars that explore some of the more thought-provoking insights from the research.
This series will bring together a range of industry leaders with upcoming topics including “How to Win a Customer for Life,” “Building an Online Reputation” and “Secrets of the Most Successful Workshops.” These webinars will be available to both Members and Non-Members via www.capricorn.coop/caphub
The more Members join Capricorn, the more Members benefit. If you were interested in strengthening your business by being part of the Capricorn cooperative, I encourage you visit www.capricorn.coop
Yours cooperatively,
