OLD MAN EMU BP-51 SHOCK ABSORBERS

Available from ARB

ARB says it is excited to announce that Old Man Emu’s BP-51 shock absorbers are now available for the Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series GR Sport and ZX models.
The Old Man Emu brand has its roots firmly planted in off road racing and draws its name from the emu’s ability to maintain great stability when moving over uneven terrain at high speeds.
From humble beginnings in 1976, ARB purchased the company in 1988 and has continued to develop and test the products in Australia’s harsh 4WD environments.
With an engineering focus for off road comfort and on road handling, today Old Man Emu supplies tailored suspension solutions for over 200 popular 4WD vehicles in Australia.
ARB reports that the Old Man Emu team have been working hard to develop a new front BP-51 strut and fit kit for the Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series GR Sport and ZX models, which also fits all existing models.
The rear fit kit has also been changed to accommodate the KDSS system, which previously meant BP-51s were not applicable to this model.
The BP-51 is a user adjustable internal bypass 4WD shock absorber that delivers increased comfort and control; both on and off road.
All BP-51 shock absorbers are designed and manufactured in-house by ARB using state-of-the-art machining and hard anodising equipment.
The body of a BP-51 shock absorber is manufactured using 6061 anodised aluminium to dissipate heat more efficiently than steel or alloy steel and provide superior corrosion resistance.
ARB says extensive dyno, real world and destructive testing has been undertaken during the development process to ensure that reliability, longevity and performance all meet its impeccable standards.
