PEDDERS GIVES KIA TASMAN A HEFTY PAYLOAD BOOST

New GVM+ Upgrade Kits are now available

Pedders Suspension and Brakes has expanded its industry-leading load and suspension offering with the release of newly developed GVM+ Upgrade Kits for the Kia Tasman, delivering increased payload capacity while maintaining full Australian legal compliance for this popular new vehicle.
Engineered specifically for Australian conditions, the new Pedders Kia Tasman GVM+ Upgrade Kits increase the vehicle’s Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) far beyond the factory rating, making them the ideal upgrade for tradies, fleet operators, as well as recreational users who demand more carrying capability from their ute.
The new ADR-compliant kits are available in 3490kg, 3500kg and 3800kg GVM rating options, with availability varying by Tasman variant, giving customers a range of choices that can be tailored to real-world load requirements.

Federal Government approved, Australia-wide legal
Like all Pedders GVM+ solutions, the Kia Tasman kits are approved by the Australian Government, ensuring they are legal for use in all Australian states and territories when fitted pre- or post-registration as applicable.
With prices starting at $3566 (excluding labour and compliance costs), each kit features vehicle-specific suspension components designed to improve load handling, stability and durability.

Designed to work hard, on and off the road
The Kia Tasman GVM+ Upgrade Kits feature a carefully matched combination of Pedders-developed components, including heavy-duty front struts and coil springs; rear foam cell shock absorbers; upgraded rear leaf springs and associated hardware; and required GVM identification and compliance components.
Pedders says all components are designed and matched to work as a complete system, maintaining correct vehicle geometry, ride control and braking balance when operating at the increased GVM.
“It is always an exciting challenge to develop new product solutions for a brand-new model, and the new Kia Tasman was no exception!” Pedders Suspension and Brakes Chief Product Officer, Rob Davis, said.
“As always, our approach when developing GVM upgrade kits is not just engineering a solution to deliver greater load-carrying capability, but designing a bespoke product solution for each vehicle that also offers enhanced ride and handling characteristics for customers that regularly tow or carry loads.”
