Permatex has developed a range of premium quality thread lubricants designed specifically to prevent seizing, corrosion and galling in high-temperature conditions.

Permatex’s copper anti-seize and thread lubricant is designed to work in temperatures ranging between 34°C and 982°C and is suitable for spark plug threads installed in aluminium, exhaust manifold bolts, engine bolts, oxygen sensors, knock sensors, thermostat housing bolts, fuel filter fittings, and battery cable connections.
“Our copper anti-seize lubricant contains micro-fine copper flakes in a semi-synthetic grease carrier,” Sarah said.
“Then we fortify it with high-quality rust and corrosion inhibitors to make sure it delivers a winning performance in the most extreme conditions.”
For applications where copper contamination must be avoided, Permatex’s nickel anti-seize lubricant is the first choice for automotive professionals who expect failsafe protection. Designed for use at temperatures up to a scorching 1316°C, Permatex’s nickel anti-seize lubricant has one of the highest temperature ratings available in market.
“Our nickel anti-seize lubricant is perfect for exhaust manifold bolts, exhaust system bolts, muffler clamps and tailpipe assemblies,” Sarah said.
“It has been tested under conditions of extreme pressure and temperature and is suitable for use with stainless steel, titanium, and nickel alloys.”
