PROJECTA EXPANDS SMART POWER CONTROL
New Smart Relays and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration

Projecta says it is redefining control with the launch of its new INTELLI-IQ Smart Relays and expanded IoT system, delivering “unprecedented levels of control, convenience, and connectivity for adventurers and tradespeople alike.”
Designed for seamless integration with the Projecta IoT (internet of things) ecosystem, the new Single-Channel Smart Relay (p/no IQR040) and Multi-Channel Smart Relay (p/no IQMR4) allow users to control multiple devices remotely — eliminating the need for complex wiring or aftermarket switches, where limitations are particularly relevant in modern vehicles.
Both Smart Relays are engineered for easy connectivity via the Projecta Smart Display (p/no IQD2) and the INTELLI-IQ App, providing intuitive control through familiar interfaces, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Projecta says this cutting-edge functionality means users can monitor and manage their power systems directly through the vehicle’s infotainment screens, enhancing safety and simplifying operation on the move.
Projecta Brand Manager, Jake Smith, said the new technology is a game-changer.
“By integrating our Smart Relays with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, we are putting complete power management into the hands — and dashboards — of our customers,” Jake said.
“It is about making the off-grid experience smarter, easier, and safer than ever before.”
The launch also marks a major step forward in the rollout of Projecta’s IoT system.
Building on the foundation laid by the Projecta Smart Display (p/no IQD2), the IoT system allows users to connect, control, and expand their 12V ecosystem effortlessly.
Whether it is lighting, refrigeration, air compressors, or other key appliances, users can name, monitor, and operate up to 60 devices via the app or display.
“Projecta’s IoT system future-proofs your setup,” Jake said.
“As new devices and technologies emerge, our system ensures users can adapt without needing major over-hauls. Whether you’re towing a caravan, working remotely, or heading into the outback, you can trust your power management system to evolve with you.”
Each Smart Relay is built to endure tough conditions, with the Single Channel Relay being IP68 and IP69K making it ideal for under bonnet installation, and most importantly simple to install, making it ideal for use in a wide range of vehicles — from touring 4WDs to trade setups.
Combined with Projecta’s robust IoT platform, Projecta says the new Smart Relays provide the ultimate in flexibility, reliability, and convenience.
The Projecta Smart Relays and the broader Projecta IoT ecosystem are available now through leading automotive, caravan, camping, and specialist battery retailers across Australia.
