STAND-OUT STANDS TURN HEADS
The AAAE exhibitors turned plenty of heads, with the stands of two companies in particular singled out for recognition
As part of the Australian Auto Aftermarket Excellence Awards Banquet, Awards were bestowed for Best Stand 36sqm and under, and Best Stand 36sqm and over.
These awards, recognising the best and most innovative stands of the Expo, were presented to LED Autolamps and ZF in Oceania respectively.
In deciding the winner, the judges considered the overall presentation of the stand including design, construction, layout of product, use of colours, lighting, signage and attention to detail.
LED Autolamps National Sales Manager, Ashley Piper, explained that LED Autolamps’ stand required an all hands on deck effort.
“It is nice to have the recognition, we put a lot of work into the stand. Our stand builder had shut down – it has been hard the past couple of years for the stand builders, so when we found we had no stand builder we had to put a lot of work in to get it up and running,” Ashley said.
“Our product range moves quite fast, so we had to update all of the lighting which is a big job. Everybody came together to make this all happen.
“(Being at the Expo) has been like a bit of a family reunion; it is really good because you get to see all of your customers in the space of three days which would usually take you about six months to see that amount of people.
“Being a member of the AAAA helps give us a lot of access to industry knowledge, and support programs within Australia and overseas,” Ashley added.
Head of Oceania for ZF, Mark Lowe, said it was fantastic to be back at AAAE to showcase ZF’s commitment to and expertise within the Oceania region.
“What a fantastic honour for the ZF Oceania stand to be named Best stand over 36sqm at the recent AAAE,” Mark said.
“With all stands automatically entered into the Best Stand categories, and with over 210 exhibitors at the event, we are thrilled that ours stood out and was recognised with this accolade.
“The ZF team worked incredibly hard when planning out the stand to ensure that not only did it clearly communicate our brands and products, but that it was also visually pleasing and welcoming to visitors.”
