STENHØJ GROUP CELEBRATES 100 YEARS
This year, the STENHØJ group is celebrating its 100th anniversary. For a century, STENHØJ has been a significant part of the automotive industry delivering premium quality products all over the globe.

Lifting the level in Oceania
By setting up the company STENHØJ Australia in Sydney, the STENHØJ Group is expanding the business to include Australia. The aim is to operate in the Australian market as well as a large part of the markets in the Oceania out of the offices and warehouses in Sydney and Adelaide.
The plans for Australia is a part of the ongoing globalisation strategy to increase the activities in Southern hemisphere.
“In order to support the automotive industry and the premium brands we need to be closer to our customers to provide the best service possible,” STENHØJ Group Chief Executive Officer, Søren Madsen, said.
STENHØJ says its mission is to add newest technology and know-how from hoists and brake testers to the market at competitive prices.
“We intend to support STENHØJ brands presence in this part of the globe and to offer best possible after sales service,” STENHØJ Australia Managing Director, Risto Koskivuori, said.
STENHØJ Australia is a subsidiary of STENHØJ Group. Focusing on sales and support of STENHØJ Group brands, the company will support group activities in Asia/Pacific also in terms of training center for hoists and testing equipment.
“We will give a clear and strong statement to the OEMs that we can support them continuously including after sales support,” Risto said.
“We opened a state-of-the-art showroom for the latest inground hoist technology in our office so that we can train our sales and service partners. We are very excited about the potential we have now with our new training facility and head office.”
Molnar Hoists becomes part of the STENHØJ Group
The STENHØJ Group is also proud to announce the acquisition of Molnar Hoists in Australia.
With over 40 years in the industry, Molnar Hoists are said to have become an icon within the Australian automotive industry. Out of the factory in Adelaide, Molnar Hoists has produced car hoists primarily for the Australian market but also exports to other countries.
Through the ownership of the Molnar brand, The STENHØJ Group will be heavily represented in Australia being a market share leader.
“STENHØJ Group is a family owned company. We have the same understanding and values of doing business like Molnar has been over the years,” Søren said.
“Therefore, I’m very confident that we will continue to make this great Australian brand even more better, lifting the level.”
The STENHØJ Group will continue to grow the Molnar brand in Australia. The product range will consist of products from the STENHØJ Group, produced in Europe as well as in Asia.
As a part of the STENHØJ Group, Molnar will be able to benefit from the access to a greater range of innovative and market leading products within inground- and above ground hoists and brake testing equipment.
“We will continue to produce spare parts and accessories for existing Molnar hoists in Australia. The commitment of Molnar now and into the future is an ongoing support for Molnar current products by ensuring a supply of spare parts and accessories,” Molnar Sales Manager, Kevin Dawes, said.
“After sales support and management of stock for Molnar products will continue from Adelaide operating out of the new office and warehouse setup. The staff in Adelaide will be there to ensure Molnar customers will keep getting the parts and products they need quickly.”
