TRAINING FOR THE INDUSTRY’S FUTURE AT THE AAAE

JAS Oceania launched a new initiative at the Expo

JAS Oceania says it is one of the last true Auto Electrical Specialists in the market with strong network coverage, knowledgeable staff and an extensive range of OE and aftermarket auto electrical products across lighting, rotating, accessories and power products.
A highly specialised and trusted trade supplier for over 15 years, JAS Oceania successfully launched the company’s new training team at the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo, engaging with many in the industry over the three-day trade fair.
JAS Oceania showcased the training services available with numerous live demonstrations of the Rotating Electrical Test Bench, Refrigerant Simulator and other new products.
The company also used the Expo to demonstrate the many applications and ease of fitting of the new “game changing” LV 4505 Alternator Sensing Ignition 12/24V Relay, a simple to fit device that not only saves on labour but also materials costs.
The AD100 Smart Alternator Tester simulates vehicle charge control without removing the alternator from the vehicle. The “plug and play” simplicity along with the control and functionality of the AD100 whilst the unit is still in-situ were of major interest to AAAE attendees.
The JAS Oceania Training Team also demonstrated refrigerant idenfitier A18-5015, a critical piece of equipment in the current workshop, as it maintains the quality of the refrigerant being recovered and limits the chances of contamination during reclamation. The team also presented the air conditioning simulator to display the effects of poor airflow over a vehicle’s condenser and the subsequent high pressure developed.
“The AAA Expo enabled us to strongly display the added support that we are providing to our customers. We want to keep them informed of technical changes and updates in the industry and introduce techniques and tips for modern equipment and products used,” JAS Oceania Group Training Manager, Mark Bailey, said.
“We also want to ensure our customers get the best out of a product. We source the best products and to get the best results we support our parts in-use in the market. All of this works as a feedback loop in quality control and continuous improvement in the knowledge gathered from the products in-use by the trade.”
The company says it is committed to the continued development of courses and trade customer support as the Australian car parc evolves and the recreational vehicle industry grows.
JAS Oceania is supported by the resources of Australasia’s largest automotive aftermarket company, Bapcor Limited.
