Turbosmart says silicone hoses are stronger, tougher and more flexible than ordinary rubber hoses

Performance vehicles are renowned for developing greater heat and Turbosmart says if you don’t upgrade your hoses, chances are you are transferring all of the thermal increase into rubber components not designed to handle that level of heat.
Due to the extreme temperatures often experienced under the hood of any vehicle, rubber hoses are prone to becoming loose, brittle and even cracking.
This can not only lead to expensive replacement costs over the lifetime of hose replacements, but can also open the door to risk of fault while the vehicle is being used. If a faulty hose is not identified early this can lead to even greater mechanical issues, causing greater headaches.
Turbosmart says this is why it has developed Silicone Hoses manufactured from a high-grade silicone which offer superior temperature resistance, making them ideal for cooling/heating and charged-air applications.
Turbosmart explains they will last longer, perform better and will not deform under extreme thermodynamic conditions, while also retaining its flexible composition, meaning that as opposed to OEM rubber hose, they are much easier to fit and remove when servicing the vehicle.
All Turbosmart Silicone Hoses are pressure rated up to 220psi, temperature rated to 180C (350F), and are available in a wide range of styles and diameters.
All Silicone Hoses are available in black and blue and are supported with a comprehensive line-up of accessories.
