XTREME OUTBACK ANNOUNCES EXPANSION OF JEEP CLUTCH UPGRADE RANGE

The new upgrades were designed for Jeep Wrangler 3.6L models

Australian Clutch Services has over 30 years of industry experience and a fully equipped research and development facility to support its product development.
The company says that its Xtreme Outback range offers heavy duty solutions for 4×4 owners designed to provide increased clamping force and overall torque capacity while also providing excellent driveability and low pedal effort.
Xtreme Outback has recently introduced a new range of upgrades specifically for Jeep Wrangler 3.6L models, including both sprung organic and cushioned ceramic kits.
“Our new range of upgrades for the Jeep Wrangler are ideal for those who have modified their vehicle for increased power and torque or who have increased the mass of their vehicle with the addition of aftermarket accessories,” Australian Clutch Services Mechanical Engineer, Stewart Furze, said.
“The new upgrades complement our already extensive range of upgrades for various Jeep models, including our hydraulics and accessories. The kits are also ideal for our US performance division and were recently exhibited at the Bantam Jeep Festival in Pennsylvania.”
The new kits come with everything needed for installation, including a replacement release bearing, pilot bearing and alignment tool.
Kits with a replacement single-mass flywheel are also available if required.
The upgraded pressure plate in all kits gives a 20 percent increase in clamping force. This gives the sprung organic kit a 450 Nm torque capacity and the cushioned ceramic kit up to 690 Nm. Both torque capacities also include a large factor of safety.
“The organic upgrade is designed for those looking for an almost OEM level of driveability whilst also gaining the large increase in torque capacity,” Stewart said.
“The organic kits are our most popular options for all 4×4 applications and are suitable for daily driven street vehicles, off-road and towing. The ceramic upgrade is designed for those who have made significant modifications to their car and require that exceptionally high torque capacity and improved heat capacity.”
The new upgrades have been released for the Australian market as well as for the company’s American performance brand XClutch. The new Jeep upgrade kits are available through the Xtreme Outback nationwide distribution network.
