ZF SERVICES AUSTRALIA TO LAUNCH SACHS MAX AT AAAE
Sustainable mobility will also be showcased with the TRW Electric Blue brake pad and eight-speed hybrid transmission
Debuting at April’s Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo (AAAE) will be the brand-new range of SACHS MAX shock absorbers available through ZF Services Australia.
The new SACHS MAX range of big bore heavy duty shock absorbers for standard and raised suspensions has been introduced in response to customer demands for the premium quality SACHS shock absorbers for their off-road, four-wheel-drive and utility vehicles.
SACHS MAX shock absorbers provide superior handling with maximum safety in extreme conditions and under heavy loads, with vehicle model coverage including the Ford Ranger, Toyota HiLux and Land Cruiser, Nissan Navara and Isuzu D-MAX.
“We are incredibly excited and proud to be unveiling the SACHS MAX shock absorbers at AAAE 2019,” ZF Services Australia Head of IAM Oceania, Darren Leyshon, said.
“Our big bore SACHS shock absorbers have been in Australia for a couple of years now, but in response to customer and market demands, we have expanded the range significantly to provide a more comprehensive offering.
“SACHS shock absorbers are now available for some of the most popular off-road and four-wheel-drive vehicles in Australia, and we anticipate the range continuing to expand this year.”
Sustainable mobility will also be a focus for ZF Services Australia at AAAE, with the Australian unveiling of the TRW Electric Blue brake pad, the world’s first aftermarket brake pad for electric vehicles.
TRW’s Electric Blue brake pads significantly reduce interior noise as well as brake dust, emitting up to 45 percent less particulate emissions during the braking process.
While from ZF itself, displayed will be its very latest eight-speed plug-in hybrid transmission, offering all the functions of a standard transmission, plus the advantages of the electric drive unit.
And in a benefit for automotive manufacturers, it comes in a modular kit to match their exacting standards.
Complementing these hero products, will be TRW’s Corner Module of braking, steering and suspension parts for passenger cars, as well as the full range of SACHS shock absorbers and clutches, and LEMFÖRDER steering and suspension components.
“Sustainable mobility and innovative technology is now a significant focus for ZF globally, with our team estimating that by 2030 around one third of all automobiles produced worldwide will be purely electric or hybrid electric vehicles,” Darren said.
“Our products displayed at AAAE incorporate the very latest and most advanced technology available from ZF, as part of our commitment to setting new standards for a sustainable automotive aftermarket.”
The final exhibit on the 135 square metre stand will be a F1 clutch, shock and formula student dampers demonstrating ZF’s commitment to global motorsport.
