ARB says its latest Summit MKII Bar muscles up with the most innovative and advanced technology yet, all while fully integrating with the suite of advanced driver assist safety technology that is available on newer vehicles.
The state-of-the-art Summit MKII Bar takes key components of its flagship namesake and kicks it up a notch with an ultra-modern design that’s constructed to turn heads.
It is designed specifically for the Toyota Landcruiser Prado 250 Series, fully integrating with Toyota’s suite of advanced driver assist safety technology that are specific to the new Prado 250 Series.
The Summit MKII has eliminated front buffers and now has robot welds on the front face of the bar which ARB says highlights its excellence in sheet metal fabrication.
The fog light design has been significantly updated to include a plug-and-play sequential indicator/clearance light/daytime running light and fog light within one complete unit for an integrated approach to incorporate these requirements on modern vehicles.
As this bull bar was an evolution of the current Summit Bar and not a complete reinvention, many of the tried and tested features of the original platform were retained.
An ARB Summit MKII Bar is vital for rural and remote area travel, says the company, providing improved protection for vulnerable mechanical components against animal strikes whilst providing a solid base for mounting other accessories like driving lights, winches and CB antennas.
