Group CEO Brad Gannon says there is lots happening across Capricorn as it seeks to support Members and strengthen the industry

One of the most significant projects currently underway is the 2026 State of the Nation research.
Every year, Members help us build a clearer picture of the opportunities, challenges and priorities shaping our sector.
To everyone who contributed their views, thank you. Your feedback helps ensure the experiences of independent automotive businesses are represented through credible, evidence-based research.
The findings will be released next month and will play an important role in our advocacy efforts, helping us engage with industry leaders, decision-makers, and stakeholders on the issues that matter most to our Members.
There are also plenty of opportunities coming up to connect with the Capricorn Community in person.
Our 2026 Gala Dinners and Trade Shows are now open for registrations through myCAP and will be held across six regions. These events bring together Members, Preferred Suppliers, and the Capricorn team to share ideas, strengthen relationships and celebrate the strength of our network.
Behind the scenes, we have also completed an important upgrade to our Risk Protection operations, moving to a modern technology platform that will help us respond more efficiently and continue improving the experience we provide to Members.
Everything we do is guided by a simple purpose: to improve the lives of Members by helping them build stronger businesses.
A big part of this is supporting a thriving automotive community including our preferred supplier partners. Thank you all for your continued support and for being part of Capricorn.
