EIBACH RACE SPRINGS

Backed by 75 years of engineering excellence, Eibach is there with trusted motorsport products that set the standard

The Eibach Race Spring (ERS) system was conceived and developed in Germany by founder Wilfried Eibach who has been managing the company for the past 60 years.
The Eibach Motorsport Spring catalogue was initially very simple, comprising of just over 50 items, making Eibach the first company to catalogue motorsport springs.
As Eibach approaches its 75th anniversary in 2026, the Eibach ERS Catalogue and program have grown to consist of more than 1,500 motorsport springs and related hardware to meet the needs of the industry.
These include main and tender springs, both available in metric and imperial dimensions, various auxiliary race suspension accessories and much more – all ready and in stock available for immediate shipment from their Sydney warehouse, with more springs and accessories being consistently added.
Eibach says its ERS spring represents “the perfect blend of high-quality engineering precision, performance and durability, making them the choice for high-performance and racing applications.”
All Eibach ERS springs are cold-wound using high tensile material, which allows for reduced wire diameter, resulting in a lighter spring with increased travel and smaller block heights with what the company describes as “superior stress tolerances compared to other spring manufacturers.”
Recent additions to the Eibach Race Spring range include the three-inch ID barrel spring range which reportedly has greater travel than conventional coilover springs, as well as new springs in 13-inch and 15-inch lengths with three-inch IDs.
These springs are designed to meet the ever-increasing requirements of the offroad coilover market.
“Eibach Australia has serviced and supported Australian motorsport for more than 25 years,” Eibach Australia Director, John Kayik, said.
“Given the quality of the Eibach product and its support, it is not surprising to know that numerous championship winning teams in V8 Supercars, TCR Australia, Improved Production, various Speedway categories, Off-Road race series, Time Attack, Rally, Drag cars, Targa events, and many more have relied and raced on Eibach.
“Furthermore, Eibach Germany is the official supplier for DTM in Europe and supplies numerous motorsport teams across Europe, whilst Eibach USA also supports numerous track and offroad-racing series and events across North America.”
Eibach Australia prides itself on having consistent stock available to be able to provide reliable and consistent support to motorsport teams and enthusiasts in a timely manner.
As the local operation is part of the global Eibach group, John explains it is supported by the inhouse global factories and has direct access to stock from warehouses in Germany, UK and the USA ensuring consistent supply and availability of Eibach products for Australian customers.
“We always try to meet the demands and requirements of the customer regardless of their size or scale,” John said.
“We all know how crucial it is having the correct springs and setup at events.”
Recently, Eibach Australia has expanded its premises, which has resulted in an increase in the range and scope of Eibach motorsport products able to be offered to the Australian market.
John says that he and the Eibach Australia team are always extremely proud of how well local, Eibach-equipped motorsport vehicles perform.
“It’s always a pleasure to watch them, and to know they are racing on our springs is a buzz for us and we always love getting out and about at events,” John said.
“The spring-making process is a process which has been perfected by Eibach since the 1950s and we are the pioneer in the field, driven by founder Wilfred Eibach’s passion for perfection that resulted in ‘The Will to Win’ which has carried through to the quality and range of products available.”
