EIBACH RACE SPRINGS

From championship-winning race teams to weekend enthusiasts, Eibach says it is always there with trusted products

The Eibach Race Spring (ERS) system was conceived in Germany by Wilfried Eibach who has been heading Eibach globally for 70 years.
The Eibach Motorsport Spring offering began in the 1980s with a simple catalogue that compromised around 50 spring items.
Since then, Eibach explains it has grown to be a formidable leader in supplying the highest quality spring and suspension products to the motorsport and automotive industry across the globe.
All Eibach Springs are cold-wound utilising high-tensile material which provides numerous advantages.
This process allows for reduced wire diameter resulting in a lighter spring with increased travel and smaller block heights with superior stress tolerances when compared to other manufacturers, says Eibach.
It states this is a process which has been perfected by Eibach since the 1980s as “the pioneer in the field” driven by Wilfred’s passion for perfection that resulted in ‘The Will to Win.’
Eibach Australia Managing Director, John Kayik, explains the Eibach ERS catalogue is comprised of more than 1,400 motorsport springs and related hardware including main and tender springs (in both metric and imperial dimensions), various auxiliary race suspension accessories and more – all in stock and available for immediate shipment from its Sydney warehouse.
He says Eibach Australia prides itself on having consistent stock available because this is what enables timely and reliable support to local motorsport teams and enthusiasts.
Plus, as the Australian operation is part of the global Eibach Group, it is supported by the in-house global factories and has direct access to stock from warehouses in Germany, the UK, and the USA.
“We have serviced the Australian motorsport industry for more than 25 years and know how crucial it is having the correct springs at events,” John said.
“Given the quality of the Eibach product and global support, it is not surprising to know that numerous championship-winning teams in V8 Supercars; TCR Australia; improved production; various speedway categories; offroad race series; time attack; rally; drag racing; targa – and many more – rely on Eibach.”
John is extremely proud of how well local Eibach-equipped motorsport vehicles perform.
“It is always a pleasure to watch them. To know they are racing on our springs is a real buzz for us,” John said.
“Eibach was the first company to catalogue motorsport springs and components through the ERS program. In our Eibach opinion, the spring comes second to the invention of the wheel.”

Eibach Race Spring (ERS) system key features and benefits:
• Single main springs with highest rate-linearity and lowest rate tolerance.
• Smallest solid heights, maximised spring travels and higher maximum loads.
• Every ERS Spring is preset to block.
• Block and sag resistant.
• Smallest tolerances and precise plane parallelism of spring ends.
• High dynamic durability under motorsport conditions.
• High quality corrosion protection by phosphating and epoxy coating.
• Springs printed with part-number (code = rate and dimensions).
• Every ERS comes in protective, individual, single-box packaging.
