MANN-FILTER ONTRACK WITH COMPREHENSIVE MOTORSPORT SCHEDULE

Along with the top-class DTM, the premium filtration brand is also set to take part in the international GTWC and the FIA European Truck Racing Championship

MANN-FILTER was recently very excited to unveil its motorsport plans for this season, stating that like in the filter segment, the team surrounding the yellow-green “Mamba” is in the premier league of racing and focuses on experienced drivers and proven partners.
“For more than two decades, MANN-FILTER has been actively involved in global GT endurance races and our yellow and green MANN-FILTER brand is synonymous with motorsport racing,” Mann+Hummel Australia Marketing Manager, Jason Pang, said.
“There is no doubt the prestige brand of AMG and its renowned racing heritage in the GT endurance race works very well with our MANN-FILTER brand.
“A lot of our customers and their end customers recognise our yellow and green MANN-FILTER AMG Mercedes car, and they equate our MANN-FILTER quality with that of the AMG brand.”
Jason explains that MANN-FILTER’s extensive motorsport schedule provides a number of benefits for the business and its partners.
“We leverage on our motorsport sponsorships to actively engage with motorsport enthusiasts. For example, in Europe, we operate a MANN-FILTER motorsport fan site where we sell all our MANN-FILTER motorsport merchandises,” Jason said.
“Our motorsport participation also allows our Mann+Hummel customers to leverage on our MANN-FILTER brand to do special promotions during the motorsport events.
“For example, one of our channel partners launched a 12 hour promotion with our MANN-FILTER product on their e-commerce website during the Bathurst 12 Hour event and it was a huge success.”
At the heart of the motorsport operation in 2024 is MANN-FILTER’s commitment to the DTM, where ‘Mercedes-AMG Team MANN-FILTER’ will join forces with proven partner, Winward Racing. Both teams have already worked together at the GT Masters and ADAC GT4 Germany in 2020.
Driver Lucas “Luggi” Auer will be at the wheel of the popular Mamba. The 29-year-old Tyrolean is not an unknown quantity – with more than 100 race starts and the 2022 DTM runner-up title, the Mercedes-AMG Factory Driver is one of the most experienced drivers in the field.
“With this line-up, MANN-FILTER makes its position clear and, while enjoying action on the race track, will set its sights on fighting for the coveted title,” Jason said.
The GT World Challenge Europe (GTWC) will also provide another ideal platform for demonstrating the top performance of the filter brand and its proven partnership with professional racing team Winward Racing.

The flagship of the Mercedes-AMG Team MANN-FILTER here is the driving trio of Lucas Auer, Maro Engel (38, Germany) and Daniel Morad (33, Canada).
Maro has been an integral part of the MANN-FILTER team over recent years and has already achieved some successes, while newcomer Daniel recently sensationally won the 24-hour race in Daytona (USA) in the GTD class with Winward Racing.
“I am very much looking forward to working with MANN-FILTER,” Winward Racing Team Principal, Christian Hohenadel, said.
“The yellow-green Mamba design has quickly established itself on the motorsport scene and has become a real audience favourite.
“MANN-FILTER is not just any old sponsor sticking its logos on a racing car. Those in charge in Ludwigsburg are real racers who live and love motorsport and use it as an ideal platform for their brand. And that makes them a perfect fit for Winward Racing.”
And that’s not all – in 2024, MANN-FILTER is also extending its partnership with the tankpool24 Racing Team, which will once again take part in the FIA European Truck Racing Championship this year.
The high-performance racing series is an ideal platform for MANN-FILTER to continue to showcase its extensive product portfolio in the commercial vehicle segment.
Steffen Faas (39, Germany) is both a driver and team owner and a very popular figure in the truck racing series. The annual Truck Grand Prix at Nürburgring is the absolute highlight of the season and with an on-site audience of over 250,000 spectators every year, it offers great reach for MANN-FILTER.
“I am delighted about the package that we have been able to put together for our MANN-FILTER world,” MANN-FILTER Sponsorship Manager, Filippina Manou, said.
“It will definitely be yellow-green on the race tracks, TV channels, social media channels, and in the press, and I am convinced that we have a promising season ahead of us with our line-ups.
“But we must remain level-headed and objective as we look around us and we can’t ignore the tough competition in terms of drivers, manufacturers, and teams.
“Winning is not a given. The strategy of steadily collecting points and completing weekends with zero mistakes will be the clear goal.
“Our customers and fans can look forward to full-on MANN-FILTER Mambamania, whether on-site or on screen. Whether on the road or at home, we will keep on doing everything we can to make motorsport accessible to our target groups this year. It will be exciting, I promise.”
