NEW FROM PROLEC

Prolec’s latest range of compact all weather PDM kits are easy to design, build, and lift

Prolec says it has created an innovative all-in-one solution to one of the most common problems when a customer wishes to add electrical accessory and overflow circuits to a vehicle.
Prolec’s new FRH PDM Kits provide the user with a quick and easy way to design a clean, compact, sealed fuse relay holder with a professional OEM quality look and build.
Prolec explains that its FRH Series Power Distribution Module Kits are designed to be compact, extremely flexible, rugged, and are “the simplest way to add accessory circuit protection and power distribution to almost any vehicle.”
It says the Prolec FRH PDM Kits obsolete the previous messy inline fuse holder cables and cumbersome non-waterproof relay blocks.
They allow the user to locate all of the circuits into one small enclosure designed to house an extensive range of off the shelf components.
It also allows the user to quickly design, build and install a custom uncomplicated assembly into their vehicle.
Once the user has chosen the most suitable kit size for their requirements, then all they need to do is to add the desired cables, terminate them, and plug in the components to complete their custom project build.
Prolec explains that the kits are extremely flexible in that they can accept a very broad range of components and variety of component combinations.
Those accessory components include mini blade fuses, LED indicating mini blade fuses, mini bladed circuit breakers (TI, TII and TIII), Mini blade diodes, resistors, shunts, transorbs, ISO 280 relays including ultra micro (four pin), micro (four or five pin) and mini (four or five pin).
An optional Diode-Key accessory is also available which fits into the PDM base. The FRH PDM Kits are available in two sizes – 12 Way and 24 Way.
Each kit includes a cover, base with seal, CPA, TPA, an assortment of genuine Delphi Packard 280 Tanged Metri-Pack terminals, seals, cavity plugs and a stainless steel bracket.
Economy manual crimping, ratchet crimping and terminal removal tools are also available.
The FRH PDM Kits are IP66 rated when all cavities are filled. The cover and base are made of thermoplastic material which can withstand temperatures of -40 to 125 degrees Celsius ambient temperatures.
